Did you have the same duties under both designations? If so you only need one letter, but you can either have your letter writer explain, or explain it separately yourself, about your change in designation due to the corporate takeover.

Also, i got promoted and the jobs and responsibilities almost remain same in another company so designation changed from senior executive to Team Lead. So in that case, if i have the same job and responsibilities then there is no need to provide two reference letters for two designations.

One question, can I do the PCC and MR in advance without waiting for the Local VO correspondence? I'm expecting to receive MR and PCC request by end of October but I will be on travel by then.

Yes as long as it is made very clear so there can be no doubt about what your duties were in any of the designations.

fact is - New rules overwrite the previous - you and me dont define it - its govt.. I didnt just put my comments without a base.. for now wait till dec 31st to be heard back on facts..

and be careful before u write anything negative too - David cohen is respected attorney - ur comments aren't good and you are in fact writing up in his own forum ....

With due respect to you, what wrong has Future_canadian said ? Don't understand why everyone is getting into an altercation for no reason. Future is right when he says that unless an MI comes into effect, FSWP14 will continue till 30th April 2015. It goes without saying that if an MI prematurely terminates FSWP14, then the programme will cease to continue after 31st Dec 2014.

But do we know as of now about any MI that will terminate the programme ? The answer, my friend is an emphatic NO. What will happen in future, nobody knows. So why dwell on things about which we all (including me) have zilch knowledge ? And even if this is David Cohen's blog, does it mean that we accept everything he (a consultant after all) says and not trust the MIs. So lets cross the bridge when we reach there. No point in fighting now. For the moment it is 30th April 2015.
