I request please don't give -1 on discussion like this or else members won't share their view point / knowledge

:)

I've got a lot of -1s today from certain people for saying that FSWP14 will continue till April 30th 2015. :) :)

But that's fine. I will still continue to help the group and say what is right, and rest assured, I won't give -1 to anyone. :) :)

If people make an honest mistake I agree with you. But when people deliberately mislead the forum, and are presented with the obvious facts (a Ministerial Instruction, the official instructions for CIC) and persist in arguing and spreading their misinformation which may cause great harm to some people who are coming here for guidance, then I am absolutely going to give -1 and be vocal about it.

Thanks for your feedback.

Why her Birth certificate was not accepted?
Her Indian birth certificate in Hindi was not having any name. As she was in Singapore, I told her to get Birth certificate from Indian Embassy in Singapore which they have refused to accept. Now she is trying to get if from India...:-(

But during my time (2010) I had submitted the Birth certificate issued from Indian embassy in Singapore and it was accepted...So no idea ..:-(

Hello Everybody, as I can see lot of people getting impatient in the forum, I would like to share my timelines. I am currently in Canada and had applied for FSW in March 2010. At that time there were no CAPS in any of the NOC;s and there were many more NOC's.

We received your application for permanent residence on March 30 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter (PER) on June 29, 2010.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the Singapore office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the Singapore office on July 6, 2010. The Singapore office may contact you.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 24, 2012.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

You Entered Canada at the Lester B Pearson Intl Airport on Aug xx, 2013 and became a PR.

You can see there was nothing in 2011. They just went silent for one year. Have patience guys... the system is slow but ca'nt help it..:-)

Thanks Ankur for encouraging us to keep out hopes alive +1

CIC asked me for a photocopy of my spouse passport that is valid for at least 6 months, so now I have to renew the passport but not sure where to send the photocopy and the RPRF payment receipt.

Please advise.

Hello I need some help regarding Proof of Funds. Can I show the required amount of funds in 2 accounts? Like for making 17000 CAD, is it ok if I show 9000 in one account and 8000 CAD in second account? One account is in my name and one a combined account of me and my spouse? Any chance that would negatively impact my application?

Its perfectly fine.

No issues, it was a different scenerio at that time. Remember that time , when it use to take 7 years to immigrtate to Canada.. so this is nothing...By the way, we submitted our medicals in first week of Sep 2012. So our visa was valid till Sep 2013, hence I landed in Aug 2013.
