On this Supplementary Information Form , I am confused with Question 5, 6 & 7?

Question 5: What is your profession and specialization (if any)?

Question 6id you serve in any militia, army, defence or police unit? My Answer will be "NO"

But then they says:

Question 7:If your answer to 6 was No, why did you not have to serve in any armed force?????????????????????????????

Really confusing Question.



Then on "IMMIGRANT SUMMARY FORM".....

(up to and including

My question is? What I need to write in all occupations? I mean to say just my "JOB TITLE" or Full employers name, address etc?

Apart from email is there any other way for PER confirmation???

I mean is there a possibility that they might misspell the email address??

Asking this question as i heard that one of friends friend had the same issue and when he enquired about it he came to know that his MR was sent too??

They don't type in your Email id. You mentioned it on Generic Form, which generates barcode based on information provided on that form. When they scan your barcode all information mentioned on that form is automatically copied into their system.

Call CIC, and ask them or order GCMS notes.

Any suggestions please how I can write the answer for this question. As if I will just write not interested they might take it negatively that why I was not interested in serving in Military?

In some countries you by law have to join armed forces. If in your country it is not mandatory then Just mention the reason that in your country it is upto every individual whether they want to join armed forces or not. You don't have to write too descriptive explanation for that just a brief explanation will do. Even if you want to write a descriptive explanation its ok. That's your call.

In question 7 they are asking your information not your companies where you are working or where you used to work. Just mention your job title, and period you worked in that particular position. Make sure it doesn't contradict with supplementary form you submitted with your application.

You know, most citizens of Canada don't serve in the Forces because they are not interested in a military career. And that's it.

Dear Forum Members,
I frequently visit this site but I've never really commented/shared my views. It is very informative and provides a basis to judge how CIC assess each applicant, sometimes it seems as though the treatment is inconsistent but maybe forum members don't disclose everything so we don't get to see the entire picture (fully understand why though).

Anyways, as my charge date is getting closer I am becoming more worried. When I sent my package there were a lot of backup documents, it weighed just below the allowable envelope limit for Fedex. I even sent letters explaining why I sent some of the backups (crazy me, just like to be extra safe). Based on your experiences, do you think CIC will negatively assess a package because there is too much supporting documents? I mean even though I tried sticking to the check list I still sent a lot pertaining to it. For example, for my education I sent the WES report and all my education certificates (even the ones that were not assessed by WES). Will this be a problem? My noc is 1212, not that HOT!

My question is, will i be able to make it to cap for 0111 (132)???? if I apply by November?

My Job Title is Software Programmer, so in the above question's Answer do I need to Write "Software Programmer" as profession and specialization? ????

Still confused on this question, I know that its upto individual as but in other words this answer means I was not interested in joining armed forces can I get more suggestions on this question please.
