Hello Brother,

According to SS 9th June apps started to get charged from 25th sept.... All CC's charged not a single DD applicant reported yet till date.

So brother what do u think our DD's also got en cashed till date..... Because my bank says the DD still shows as Outstanding I checked with them yesterday....

Please advice......

Please note the DD encashment flow below:

1. CIC submit DD to Central Bank of Canada (encashment day for CIO)
|
V
2. Central Bank sent it physically to Royal Bank of Canada (DD drawn on the bank) - it may perform same day or take several day.
|
V
3. Royal Bank will verify with ICIC bank in India
|
V
4. ICIC bank confirm and release the money
|
V
5. Royal Bank will confirm getting the money -possible time when ICIC bank will declare encashment
|
V
6. Royal bank release it to Central Bank of Canada
|
V
7. CIO get its money

Note the time difference between step 1 and step 5. Because of this gap, it takes time to bank to confirm encashment.

Any banker, if I am wrong, please let me correct it.

Thanks bro... What in case of State Bank of India.... do they follow the same steps???

I have a question regarding passport. My Indian passport has my old US address and not current Indian address. will this be an issue?
I am currently in MR stage.

thanks,
Vishal

Please advise which bank you called to verify encashment of DD? was it RBC or your local bank??
thanks much

Another -1 as soon as I am able. You are INCORRECT.

The Ministerial Instructions have explicitly stated that FSW and EE will overlap until FSW ends on APRIL 30TH, 2015.

My friend - this is fact - choice is to believe it or skip it but please do not give out incorrect information

Question?

For the forms can we leave those questions blank or write "NA"?

Always write NA when a question does not pertain to you or is irrelevant. Not doing this will show your forms as incomplete

Absolutely right Century

It's same for all. Just swap ICIC with State Bank of India.

Hello guys,

I'm a 30th May applicant (NOC 0113) and I received my PER on 25th September. Currently waiting for the next requests to follow from NDVO.
I see senior forumites advising people who got their PERs to initiate PCC process but my consultant said I can initiate PCC only after I receive PCC request from NDVO because the police authorities require the PCC request mail.
Should I go ahead with getting PCC done in Bangalore immediately? This definitely seems more sensible but is it possible sans the PCC request mail?

TIA!
