Nova Scotia... "it-tu saaa..... " :P :P
LOL ;D

By the way did you guys know that Canada is 2nd largest country in the world after Russia, just ahead of USA.

Even then the land area of Canada is lesser than that of USA due to water bodies occupying a considerable area of Canada. Water bodies (predominantly fresh water lakes) occupy around 9-10% of the total area of Canada.

BTW anyone wanna work in Nunavut ? :)

Well my dad gave me 2000 CAD . I have 11000 CAD saved up in 3 years. Do I have to justify that why 2000 cad suddenly came into my account .?

You can mention it is a gift from your dad to you forever, in case you are asked.

Hi All,

As per NOC's list we have three sub categories for software field.

2172 - Database analysts and data administrators (DBA)
2173 - Software engineers and designers
2174 - Computer programmers and interactive media developers

Till date, the cap count for 2173 and 2174 are almost done(nearly reaching 1000),

but for the NOC 2172 accepted applications cap count is less than 100.

I am planning to apply for NOC 2172. So I want to confirm whether there is any reason behind this.

Kindly let me know if any tricky part behind the 2172(DBA) NOC, like CIC rejecting these category of applications for any kind of reasons?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Lava.

CC being risky is an understatement! :P
If you decide to use CC make sure you have enough credit limit to cover the transaction, make sure you do not have a daily limit that is below the transaction amount and make sure to notify the bank of the transaction beforehand, otherwise they may reject it.

And also you never know when the bank will change the card as has been seen numerous times.

Dear All

I got mail from London Visa Office dated 26th September 2014 to submit Police Clearance Certificate and Last 6 months Bank Statement.

I have a query related to Bank Statement. When submitting the application, I had provided Balance certificate showing the amount required in CAD as settlement funds in my account. After submitting the application I had withdrawn the funds and as of now I don't have enough funds in account to show as end of day balance required as settlement funds. I had invested in purchasing a car. I have enough gratuity to show as proof of funds and can do saving till landing in Canada.

How do I communicate this to Visa officer that the funds reflecting in my account are not the only proof of funds as I have additional backup (including Gratuity)?

I need your advise and suggestion to overcome this issue. Your help will be highly appreciated.

Best Regards
Ganesh

Hi Ganesh,

Just for the academic purpose, can you please let us know if you provided payslips/income proofs along with your application?

I think you can show Gratuity certificate given by your organisation, stating clearly that you will get this money, if you decide to resign today. Not only this, gather other documents which can count as PoF. Also show them how and where you spend the money shown for previous PoF.

Best is holding the funds in savings account/FD. If not, try the above or any other way you feel is appropriate.

Thanks.

Nova Scotia has Sunday all year round... :)

Does the VO always ask bank statements from everyone who has submitted application with only balance certificate and not added bank statements as Proof of funds. There was a question imposed by a a forumite earlier about lack of funds when asked by London VO?

Thanks for your reply.

Does anyone know if the CIC is going to contact the bank about the funds availability? I had to withdraw some funds for an emergency, and not sure if I'd be able to replenish them. I just got my CC charged. Though the bank certificate i sent to CIC was original, and my account did have enough funds at the time.

CIC will not contact the bank. Even if they do, banks are not supposed to divulge your info to a third party.

In case CIC has a doubt, they will contact you and ask for latest statements and clarifications.
