Hi All,

As per NOC's list we have three sub categories for software field.

2172 - Database analysts and data administrators (DBA)
2173 - Software engineers and designers
2174 - Computer programmers and interactive media developers

Till date, the cap count for 2173 and 2174 are almost done(nearly reaching 1000),

but for the NOC 2172 accepted applications cap count is less than 100.

I am planning to apply for NOC 2172. So I want to confirm whether there is any reason behind this.

Kindly let me know if any tricky part behind the 2172(DBA) NOC, like CIC rejecting these category of applications for any kind of reasons?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Lava.

Hi Lava,

It all depends on the experience letter from your company, If you can get the 2172 responsibilities on experience letter from your company then its worth a shot....
Good Luck.... 8) 8) 8) 8)

Hi Guys.. I am not sure whats going on at FBI processing time ... Now they have just updated that it will take 12 weeks from receiving date..

On September 7, 2014, CJIS installed a new IT system. As a result of this installation, we are experiencing delays in processing. Please be assured that each issue is being identified and resolved as quickly as possible, but at this time anticipated processing time for an Identity History Summary is approximately 12 weeks. Allow additional time for mail delivery.

Till yesterday it was 8 to 10 weeks... When my application reached it was just 30 days and 30 days has already passed for me... As per my MR email I need to submit the PCC by 3rd November.. My application was received at FBI on 26th August..Now 12 weeks from that will be around 20th November... Don't know if they will increase the number of weeks again... Please advise..

Dear Friend,

In US and and Canada the entire credit card system is different. If we swipe our Indian chip credit card in Wallmart or Costco , they won't ask for our PIN no as in India.( I have experienced it myself more than 10 times).

And i also use my USD chase bank Chip credit card , i had not asked for any passwords or PIN no anywhere (Online and retail)

So forget about this headache ,
;)

Alright, thanks for the input :)

+1!
