hi future Canadian,

my case looks similar, but it is for my father, my father names spelling in current Passport is Prabohd, instead of Prabodh.

I have sent an affidavit stating my BC, 1oth Mrksheet, old passport that my father name is Prabodh not Prabohd. I sent my application on 18 aug, 2132 NOC,

will it affect my application.
Meanwhile I m planning to apply for new Passport for correction of father name spelling.

Was it a simple mistake or is there some other reason? As long as you have fully explained it I think it is ok.

At any rate, CIC doesn't really care about the names of spouses or parents in passports. Passports are travel documents only, not identity documents, and aren't acceptable as proof of relationship. Hopefully someday you will get a Canadian passport and you will see no other names in it aside from your own and that of the Queen.

Hi guys,

I have a question. I received my MR on 26th September. The Ndvo has asked me for my PCC along with other documents. But my consultant had asked me to send the pcc separately as soon as I got my PER. The pcc was received by NDVO on 15th September. As per my consultant there is no need for me to send the pcc again. But I am confused. What do you guys say? Should I do pcc again and send the new one or just send the photocopy of the earlier pcc?

Inform VO that you have sent the PCC before and give your details and Courier tracking no for them to relate the UCI and PCC. No need to send PCC again.

Hi, Few days ago I checked my ecas status and it says "We have started processing your application on September 17th". I am ndvo 8th may applicant. But still have not received MR etc. I noticed that certain applicants from 12th may have received medicals. Is it due to the time they take to perform background checks?
Also I wanted to ask those who have received MR that whether they received it by email or speed post?

I've added an entry in SS but it appears at the bottom so I request the moderators to move it at its proper place.

Yest, I got it on September 8th. But you should include as many ways of contacting your manager as possible.

In SCHEDULE 3 , one of my experience periods is less then one year, and when filling the years of experience I can only check one year not less !!!
Does it mean they will not consider or calculate experience period less than one year ?

i have written the main contents of the refusal letter, the highlighted ones..

1.)The ECA does not meet the following requirements:
you didnot provide us with the copy of the completed foreign education credential to accompany the education credential assessment (ECA)

argument against the above rejection : i have sent complete documents of my detailed marks cards of the university for complete education along with my application and original WESreport aassessment report along with the application.

please help.

Oh please, dont scare everybody, we are hoping to RETURN to Calgary. Lived there almost 9 years and we miss it so much!!!!!!
If you look at www.mls.ca
You get a house for under 500.000 Dollar. Doesnt have to be the best areas for the start
The weather in Calgary is actually nice. Cold yes, but dry. And sunny most of the year. If you dress warm you are fine. The city is prepaired for that. Never a problem for us
I am just saying, different people different experiences

Today morning I FINALLY recieved much awaited ECA reports for 3112 3111 from MCC and all other my family members(remember family hospital kind a thing ) got it long time back will send file soon...
YES I HIRED A CONSULTANT ;D although this forum allows me a equips me to challnge my consultant and not blindly follow them ! so...
just an info that i had ;D
