Hi Guys,

I have an urgent questions regarding MR. I received my PER one week ago. However, i am now in Canada doing a master. my question is :
does the MR email includes my dependants? in other words, can i do the medicals from Canada and my family do the medicals from Jordan with one form??? Please seniors help.

Despite checking every document.... i made some mistakes. :-(


1. missed to send self-addressed labels
2. Did not have BC for myself and my wife. hence got Declaration from parents. but missed to write clarification letter as i am providing alternate letter
3. For wifey sent PAN, Voter, Adhar but missed to send 10th/12th certificates as proof of DOB.

I have sent my FSWP application from London ( though am an india and working in London ) and it has been received by the office under the code 0013 ( Sr Manager Financial, Communication ) on 25th September 2014. I have couple of queries if someone can help me with please :

a) The site of canadavisa shows just 32 applications received till the 28th September 2014 - So I guess I will get a response after my application gets accepted
b) When Do I hear from CIC about the receipt /acceptance of application ?
c) I have filled in the form for credit card to be debited with all the details in the application - How long does it take for the card to get debited ?

If someone can please help with the queries

a - 32 applications processed until the latest date of the CC/DD encashment which is June 10th (i believe). Actual # of apps received as on date will be more than the current figure on the CIC Page.
b - You will not hear from CIC about the 'receipt' of the app apart from the delivery confirmation details from your courier. The first notification will be in the form of PER which happens an average of 2 weeks post CC/DD encashment.

c - You can take a look at the 'estimated' dates in the Spreadsheet. Based on your date of submission the charge is likely to happen between 26th Nov to 4th Dec 2014.

I am also waiting for PER,can you please let me know how to check ECAS before PER.

If will have UCI no only if you are an earlier applicant. In case you are a fresh applicant, you will get UCI at the time of PER mail. Only then can you check ECAS status.

IF YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THE AFFIDAVIT WITH THE SSC CERT THEN IT SHOULD BE OKAY. IN SOME CASES AFFIDAVIT ALONE HAS ALSO BEEN ACCEPTED]
3. For wifey sent PAN, Voter, Adhar but missed to send 10th/12th certificates as proof of DOB. [PAN/VOTER/AADHAR WILL NOT BE ACCPETED. AS I SAID, IN SOME CASES AFFIDAVIT ALONE HAS ALSO BEEN ACCEPTED BUT IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO BACK IT UP WITH THE SSC CERT]

Going by the situation under 2 and 3, I would recommend, if your NOC is not HOT, that you send additional documents to CIC ASAP!

Hi Guys,
I am a little worried about my experience NOC that i selected- my primary NOC is 2134 (Mechanical Engineer) that’s not a problem.
The issue is for my part time work that i did with a startup. For the reference letter i got my work hours are mentioned and all the other CIC requirements are fine but when i was applying the closest matching NOC was "0124 Advertising, marketing and public relations managers"
Now the problem with this is that the NOC site states
"Marketing managers
•A university degree or college diploma in business administration or in a related field with a specialization in sales or marketing
and
Several years of experience as a sales, marketing or public relations representative or in a related occupation are required"
I was working part time as a promotion manager we would deal with client and pitch different promotional campaign ideas. Identify key demographics and set up promotional campaigns.
I have already applied on the 5th of September, Can someone advice if this will be accepted or it’s going to be an issue. Do I have to resend the documents with a different NOC ? but I did not find one that matches closer to my job descriptions than this category? Please let me know what you guys think is the right way of going about this.

Were I supposed to update about getting married right after marriage or wait till I get PER email? Would be I considered too late to update if I update after PER?

My details are below:

My application received date: May 28th, 2014
Marriage Date: June 30th, 2014
PER Date: Sept 19th, 2014.

I have not updated CIC after I got married on June 30th, 2014; I was waiting for the PER first. I have received PER a week ago/September 19th, 2014. After receiving PER I have updated NDVO about marriage and spouse addition.

Am I late in updating NDVO about my marriage? I waited till I get PER.

You can update VO after PER (you have already recd PER it seems. So update them immediately).

You will need to resubmit forms required for Spouse details to VO along with Spouse PCC, passport details, photographs, etc, once they ask for the same.

My Canadian friend applied for my GCMS notes yesterday. I know the website's official figure says it can take 30 days to receive my notes. But does it really take that long? Anyone.please share your experience. Thanks.

In the "supplementary information, Your Travels" form, is it mandatory that the dates has to be mentioned with the most recent first? Is it still OK if I start from the oldest date of travel?
