BTW your suggestion to hartej is incorrect. :) One of the IMPORTANT task of the VO case officer is to understand where the fund comes from and whether it is self owned or borrowed etc. etc.

ok, Oscar so is there any Document which we need to make to show that i sold land on my name if Required to CIC

It is MUST that you send notarized copies of ALL your individual mark-sheets (every semester) and notarized copy of your degree certificate along with the ORIGINAL WES report with your application. I have seen people missing that and getting rejections.

Regarding POF.....(liquid) Assets should be more than liabilities by at least around 23000 CAD to 25000 CAD...this is to prove that you have enough initial settlement funds....

For 2172 category, see the projections/estimations of CAP closure dates on the excel sheet maintained in this forum...

All of this is incorrect.

Notarized documents aren't necessary unless they are translated. If they are translated, follow the instructions in the Guide for submitting translated documents.

Liquid assets need not be greater than liabilities by the required settlement funds amount. All that is required is that your liquid assets be unencumbered by the liabilities. If your liability is for example a car loan where if you don't pay you could lose your car but you wouldn't be forced to hand over any money, your liquid assets are unencumbered. In fact it is possible to have a negative net worth and still meet the settlement funds requirement, though I don't suggest this.

Hi

If by worrying anyone gonna get PER then that's best thing to do , go ahead
But if not... I would suggest stay calm and enjoy last few months in your native country
If everything is in line , you might be getting good news in coming week

All the best

You're right.
I hope I get the good news next week. I'm getting more nervous, because where I live I can't find out whether my DD has been cashed, so that just makes me more anxious.

May we all get our PERs and finish the process entirely until we have the maple leaf visa in our passports.

Dear. Forumites....i am concerned about showing proof of funds
I am from India and have been living in SA since two years.....

So can I show funds from my SA bank account as POF?
How to show conversion to CAD? Does it need to be from a trusted partner?

Please help.

You can show assets from anywhere in the world as long as they are yours or your spouse's.

Use a reputable source for exchange rate information. I used the Bank of Canada. They certainly cannot challenge their own central bank!

SA= Saudi Arabia or South Africa?

Hi Moderators,

I received PER on 23rd Aug. Still my ECAS is showing `In Process` and detailed info is showing ` we received your apps on 13th May`
Has my file already being transferred to Delhi VO ?

One of the forum buddies is 8th May apps, who received MRE, PCC and RPRF yesterday.

Since I am already in Toronto under dual intent for studies, would it be realistic for me to get a MRE waiver ? or expedite my case ?
(I have already attached my PCC in apps)

Can I get my passport stamped in Canada, instead of Delhi VO ?

Many thanks to you all,
Jango

Just keep money in your account and don't puzzle ur self with unforeseen circumstances
If u r really bothered about source of funds question , make one fixed deposit in your name that's it .

All the best

Thanks Gsw, I will Definately convert it into Fixed Deposit.

Then thus we will get some document or slip of fixed deposit and for how many years should i do the fixed deposit.

Today I received PER.
I have a question, I stated London as my Visa office. But now I am in Canada on student visa. Shall I request for Visa office change to CPC-Ottawa after AOR? Or shall I continue with London Office?
That is sure that I will update my address and status in Canada to the London Office after AOR.

You need to update the VO about your change in address anyway, so when you do, go ahead and ask whether your case ought to be moved to CPC-O. It's worth a try and will go much faster for you.

You can use the case-specific inquiry form. I'd wait until after AOR.

Hello,

I have received AOR mail yesterday. Although I'm Turkish and indicate Ankara as my VO at the application forms the AOR mail came from Paris VO. I have read in this forum that this might happen and some Turkish people are directed to Paris VO. What I'm wondering is; if they want to perform an interview how this will gonna happen? Do I have to travel to Paris? ::)

I will update spreadsheet but I want to ask if the Coloumn C represent my VO as Paris or should I keep as Ankara?

Best wishes,

Congrats and +1

Make it for one year minimum .

You will be fine mate , don't bother about source of funding .
