I am planning to apply for NOC 2172 (Database analysts and data administrators). I can take the required roles and responsibilities from my current company, my current designation is Software Engineer and i am working here from last 2 years.

I have below questions.

1. Is it worth to apply for this NOC now? or i am late for it. Presently count is 54 as per below link.

2. Can i apply for this NOC with designation Software Engineer, because the required designations are different? or CIC reject my application.

3. How CIC verify my job details?

This means PER is on way.

This means that your application preliminary processed and found positive opinion. Have you received PER? Now CIC/CIO will send your application to Visa office and Medical etc. process will done by VO. Please glue your eyes on your status. Good Luck.

Dear comrades,

In "Your travels form" Should I only include the travels I made to another country. Or should I include the period which I came back to my country as well. For example, I traveled to Saudi from Jan 2008 and stayed there till Oct 2008. Then I came back on vacation on Nov 2008 and stayed in Native country till End of Dec 2008. Then again fled back on Jan 2009.
So should that vacation period of 2 months in the native country be also included?

Good to see that June 10 has also started being charged. As a June 12 applicant I am getting impatient now but hope that if its meant to be good it will happen by the grace of Almighty..

One important thing which I noticed and wanted to share is that the DD's are usually sent about a week before the CC of any day for eg June 9th is charged so if we see the SS it becomes clear that right after a week of CC of a particular day the DD gets also gets charged for that day. It means that it is not necessary that DD gets charged after 2 weeks of the CC of that particular day.

Did anybody applied for UK PCC? Could you please post the timelines of PCC received from UK?
In the ACRO website, it was mentioned that 10 working days for Standard Service and 2 Working days for Premium Service after the application is received. Will they send the PCC back within the specified timelines or do they take extra time?

I just got my package back yesterday after a very long wait. The reason for rejection is that the NOC that i have applied under and the JD that i provided in the company letterhead do not provide enough evidence that i have performed the duties required in the Lead Statement.

I applied under NOC - 1112.
App reached : May 12.
App Processed date July 18th.
App received : Sep 24th

Needed some help from experienced people in the forum to advise on which NOC i can apply under. I'm into the fund services industry with 5 and half years of experience in Financial Reporting, Fund accounting department. PLEASE HELP!!! Below are the main Job duties that i perform on a day to day basis.

Responsible for detailed review of interim and annual financial statements for the Investment Funds under NT administration. Which includes internal audit of Balance sheet, Income Expense Statement, Capital movement & Cash flows statement.

Review and preparation of word draft annual report for auditors’ review along with notes to accounts including Financial Reporting Standard compliance notes.

A Subject Matter Expert (SME) with in‐depth technical knowledge of IFRS and responsible for training and mentoring junior analysts.

Performing daily reviews of client deliverables, maintenance of accounts according to Service level agreement which includes checking and correcting discrepancies.

Preparation & Review of Portfolio Statement to be included in the annual report. This involves downloading description information of securities from Bloomberg for Country classification, nature of investment, maturity dates etc.

Review and preparation of General Expense budgets updated every quarter across all funds managed by Northern Trust Ireland region.

Preparation of German Tax for all the funds that have German investors to facilitate the filing of tax returns in their country as per transparency principle of Germany.

Manage daily operational activities and supervise day‐to‐day work of junior level employees along with timely feedback on their work.

Responsible for ensuring that the team goals for accuracy and timeliness are maintained.

I need advice -- My application was received on Sept 4 and today by reading all post I have realized that I have missed to sent my foreign education credential (10th , 12th and Degree marksheets) along with WES evaluation.

Please let me know what can I do in this regards --

Shall I sent my missing doc , if yes whats shall I mention in covering letter and how do they get to know about combining my package (previous and new) as I have not received any notification from them (no UCI or file no.)

Dont panic. I assume that you already have the credential report from WES. Send the missing documents in an envelope to the same CIC office where you have submitted your application. Write"ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS" on the envelope containing the documents. You have to include a covering letter with the documents, in which you have to mention that you forgot to include the enclosed documents in your application and please accept the same. Do give the following information in your letter for their ready reference:

Your question is insuffecient. Thousand of applications have been reached to CIC. 4003 applications have been processed out of them as updated on 22 nd Sep. For which NOC are you thinking to apply?
