Hi Everyone,

Has anyone experience delay in getting PCC? I am requested to send PCC within next 60 days but I see there is 8-10 weeks delay in sending PCC from FBI due to some new IT system installation. How should I report to Canadian Consulate Office ?

Any suggestions on this one?

I applied for FBI PCC 3 weeks back and till now no response. Can we send them an email or call to know the status.

If yes what is the email id/phone no. to reach them.

No need they will send it. For me it took 6 weeks, I got it in mail the same week they charged my credit card.

Please be assured that each issue is being identified and resolved as quickly as possible, but at this time we anticipate processing time for an Identity History Summary to be approximately 8-10 weeks. Allow additional time for mail delivery. We respectfully request that you refrain from calling to check on the status of your request prior to 10 weeks. Guys one good news for those who are waiting and worried for long time taken by FBI in sending the BG document :

The News is we can call them and ask them for reference number which the help desk personnel will give you . Then you can mail them about the status of u request at liaison@leo.gov . Guys what the help desk told me is that FBI will give the explanation to the Canadian Visa office about the reason behind the delay and as per her they will accept the delay as its due to the transition of of system in FBI.

Note : As per her they havent started processing my request which they have received on 11th Aug yet

How long did it take for them to reject?? I meant the time frame between fingerprint received and rejection.. And also, how did they notify ( email or mail ) ? Thanks

It was approximately a month or so.

I just resended my rejected application. I would like to update the spreadsheet, should I update entry or create new one? Or maybe I should wait until will be delivered (Monday)
