Hi All,

Have a situation and am hoping one of the seniors can comment. My CC got charged on Sept 15 but have not yet received any emails from CIC about the PER.
I did however get an email yesterday from WES stating CIC needs to view my evaluation on their website and to allow access to them and issue a duplicate report, I need to fill a form and pay additional fees to WES. The original report had been submitted with the application.

Any one else faced a similar scene?

I was in the same boat. Ill tell my ordeal. Maybe this will help u.

1. 8th sept: applied for pcc with me and wife at bangalore. My wife's pcc request was approved. Mine was rejected bcos of smudge. My cc was still not charged at this point. The APO at psk escalated the review to main psk koramangala blore.
2. 12th sept: the apo refused pcc but offered to provide appointment for ppt reissue immediately. Had to submit proof of urgency. Guilty and desperate that i was, i forged a per mail from my relative and submitted as proof. Got appointment for 15th aug when i submitted.
3. 17th sept: went to the commissioner's office and submitted for pcc. I have stayed at 2 addresses in blore over last 1 year. Submitted to pcc apps for each address. All the 3 police verification requests reached both police stations within 18th sept.
4. 18th sept: was called by old police station for verification. Took them to old house and finished verification after neighbour signed. They finished pcc and passport verification together
5. 20th sept: new police station called for verification. Came home and verified new address for passport.
6. 24th sept: cc got charged
6. 25th sept: went to new police station. This place sucks. The passport verification is still not sent to psk. Pleaded them to sent it as i had bribed 500 rs already. Gave documents for pcc verification. They say they ll come in a day or 2 for verification.

Expecting passport to be sent to psk today. Expecting passport after 10 days after that. Another option is to go back to main Psk apo and request them to issue passport within few days. They can do it if pcc is done for re-issue.

Dear all,

I went to PSK office this morning to apply for PCC,but they said my passport is damaged (Got water smudges on
few pages) ,so they cannot process it .They advised to re-apply for passport which may take one month since
the present address is different.


And then I have to apply for PCC.

Please advise .

1. Can i go ahead re-apply for passport? If then , how do i have to intimate CIC?

2. Will this create a problem in the PR process when NDVO requests for passport and finds this is a different
passport number?

Please let me know ASAP.

Hello Friends

Just to know that how much will it take to reach to september applications....

From the spreadsheet i noticed that there were approx 1200 application in May
some 500 in June and in July it is 470
for Aug and sep its 300 each..(aPPROXIMATELY)

No need to panic, go ahead and pay fees for addtional report. This happend because while getting WES evaluation you did not select FSW credential evaluation. this speicific evaulation exposes your credentials to CIC online.

Well no question is dumb
ECAS- Its an online tool to know about the status of application(E-Client application status) : You need universal client id(UCI) to know the status
PER - It is first official milestone of your application called Positive eligibility review , it is an email notification from CIC to inform that your application has achieved positive determination of eligibility and can be processed ahead.

Do as it is asked in the email

I had the same situation

Don't use the fax option but use your credit card to pay the fees online. This will expedite the process .

And please be assured you will get the per mail in a week.

Timelines can change anytime, there was a time when cic gave on 4-5 cc charges per day and 1-2 pers and then there was time where 30-35 applicants reported cc charge on forum and 15-25 PERs.

but be patient CIC/NDVO as lighting fast this time. I guess your will get CC charged by 1st week nov

Try your luck by doing a search accross entire canadavisa forum or google it, last resort is to call concerned authority in spain..
