My application was received by CIC on 25 August according to DHL tracking. But after a whole month I haven't received any emails from CIC yet. Is this OK or I'm in trouble because CIC has lost my package?) When should I receive a notification from CIC?

i got one question.

i have been asked to show the following :
"Bank statements showing 6 months history of funds"


Wht does this mean
- do i have to send six months bank statements . like 6 bank statements, one for each month ?
OR
- do i have to send just one letter from bank showing that for 6 months i have the required funds ?


also how much funds do i have to show ?

It simply means that you should ask your bank to print your account statement from March/ April to September 2014. The statement should also show that you have the minimum amount required for your family size. Also if you have any bulk deposits within this time frame, you would need to clarify the source of the funds with enough evidence that it is actually yours and not borrowed.

yes this is absolutely normal....

Applicants rcv PER email (which is the first comm from CIC) on 3.5-4 months in an avg after the app rcvd date...

So wait for that.....

Hello Seniors,

I received PER in August and I renewed my passport as I am not living in my country and I will not come back within remaining month of my passport validity. I also received AOR from visa office. How can I update my new passport details? Can I respond to AOR with attached copy of the passport?

U can send a case specific Enquiry attaching the scanned copy of new PP.....That will be enough for now...

Relax, its still early days. You might get a PER by email if your application is accepted in about two months time.

Guys,

Need some advise here.


I have 4 companies in last 7 years out of which one gave me a ref letter on letter head with roles, rest 3 of them denied it. As a alternative i managed to get a email from my senior colleagues with the roles and respons with no of hours worked and the duration of employment and the sender's contavt details , along with that i attached a self affidavit for each of these email stating i wont be able to provide a roles n responsibility letter hence the email, please feel free to contact Mr _____- for any clarification.

Some say that its not sufficient to suffice ref letters. Want to know if anyone has got per with this scenario.

Wait for minimum 90- 100 days. Before that you wont hear anything from cio.

Dear all,

I went to PSK office this morning to apply for PCC,but they said my passport is damaged (Got water smudges on
few pages) ,so they cannot process it .They advised to re-apply for passport which may take one month since
the present address is different.


And then I have to apply for PCC.

Please advise .

1. Can i go ahead re-apply for passport? If then , how do i have to intimate CIC?

2. Will this create a problem in the PR process when NDVO requests for passport and finds this is a different
passport number?

Please let me know ASAP.

In the back ground declaration form, there is a column asking for the education where they ask name of the institution. For my bachelors, the name of the college which I studied is XXX College, however all the certificates and marksheets are issued in the name of YYY University of which many other colleges including XXX college is also a part of. So should I give the name of the XXX College or YYY University?

People from Pakistan, could you let me know where you got your birth certificate and ID cards translated? Thanks!

NADRA issued birth certificates (new format) do not need translation. If you have the old one, you can get the new one from where your birth was registered. you can get the new one (with NIC copies of your parents and some penalty) even if you don't have the old one.

For NIC, you have two options 1) Get NICOP issued from NADRA 2) Get it translated as per the directions given by CIC. I got it translated on a specific format that lawyers already have. Then the translator signed an declaration/oath/affidavit (as suggested by CIC) in front of oath commissioner. In my case, the oath commissioner translated himself and signed the declaration with his stamp. Affidavit must include his NIC number.

My application has reached on 20.08.2014 (NOC 1114)

Request to clarify whether processing time of FBI PCC can be redused if we give local address of receipient in application??

If it is so, then we will give local address while applying . or else we will give our India address where we currently live.

I heard taking FBI pcc from INDIA took 3-4 months .. please correct me if I am wrong.
