Thanks. It is made for 11 months. So if I go for another agreement which will be for more than one year would be good right? Or should it be made before one year.

Another thing, in some cases PCC is taking one or two days or in some cases it is taking one month, so when should we initiate the PCC process as I have heard that it should have been issued within three months on the day we will submit it though it is valid for one year. Experts please advice so that I will try to check dates to initiate this.

3 months clause is applicable to PCC only at the time of initial apppliction submission. If PCC is submitted later, 3 months clause should be ignored.

Apart from rent agreement, other proofs accepted for address proof are gas connection bill, landline bill, postpaid mobile bill, bank statement from nationalised bank, etc.

Thanks a lot bros... Finally all the gods have answered my prayers then. :-) My prayers on behalf of all fellow brothers waiting in queue.

@ Ashif... no.. its a mistake from their end. My application carries the spelling of my name accurately. Which is the same as my passport. I rechecked. It seems a very silly mistake though..
:-)
Local VO it is then? Not sure how do I find the details of local VO.. I checked on CIC website but couldn't find. Any help much appreciated.
I shall meanwhile start googling...

Hi there,

My wife is using her eye glass and currently her vision is not 100%. Does she need to have it checked before she go for her medical examination and how will it affect her medicals/our application? What would be advisable?

Thanks.

thats not a reason for rejection.
In that case there would be no spectacled people in Canada and no Opticians / Opthalmologists there.

Dear All,

6th June Applicant, CC charged 22nd Sep, PER 24th Sep.

Just a question; I have had a baby, a new job in a new country since June & a new passport number. Should I send documents proving all these changes NOW? Or should I send CIC the changes took place & wait for further instructions?

Thanks & Good Luck for all

wow..PER already? Congrats!

All those updates are to be sent to your visa office, not CIC. If you have their contact information, you can send the updates now or you can wait until you receive AOR to do so.

Hey Guys I require your help (specially from people who got their PCC from Bangalore Passport office)

I have a passport which was issued by Bangalore Passport office and I am going to get my PCC from the same Bangalore Passport office. Do I still need to carry additional address proof if the residing address is still the same (the one which is mentioned on my passport), wont the self-attested copy of the passport itself would serve as a residence proof?

Please let me know (people who obtained their PCC from Bangalore Passport office). Thanks

Congratulations... That was super fast - from CC charge to PER in just 2 days.
since you have received your PER, I would suggest informing VO once you get the AOR with the changes, they will revert to you immediately with the required documents. You could also e-mail CIC on the contacts given in PER and then await further instructions.

Hi,
Yeah that was super fast.
I don't know which Office I should be sending to? Do I have to send first an email of the changes?
What is AOR?

Thanks

If express entry starts to open at Jan 2015, can the future applicants still apply to the FSW 2014-2015 next year? Thanks!
I think they will be receiving applications for the FSW until April 2015.

At any passport office, Though your resident address is same as of Passport, they would still ask for a proof of residence just to ensure that you are residing in the same address. At least that was my experience with PSK's so far in Chennai and Hyderabad. Though passport india website says only passport is enough, I have noticed that is not the case and generally at the PSK they ask for additional documents.
