Jobs are segregated over places across Canada...People from animation find good jobs in vancouver, people from IT find jobs in Toronto, Montreal (french speaking). Young students who need quick immigration and decent job ($14-$16 per hour) in restaurants, food-franchise, FMCG, Factories etc find alberta & calgary good.

In a nutshell...people find job eventually...we need to be more flexible towards role and duties & sometimes even look out for entirely new direction...

Unlike in India (where i come from) here people are still into lower management or middle management after 10 years of experience. In India one becomes team leader or senior team leader or even managers with 10-15 years exp...here in canada there is no retirement age and pay is good. No one switches job hence few job openings and promotion.

Question on PER e-mails. Is there a common e-mail address which delivers PER? If so, it would be advisable to add it to contacts to avoid getting it lost in the Spam folder. Can someone share the e-mail address that sends the PER e-mail. Also, Has anyone had any issues with Gmail in receiving PER e-mail?

Hi there.
Something strange just happened to me. Yesterday I sent an email to Havana Visa Office asking how I could submit updated status of my current situation in order to be up to date with my application. In the answer email they told me that I should send new information to Mexico Visa Office. Any ideas why this could be? Here in Cuba we have a VO, why they are redirecting me to Mexico?

Yup. I'm a CPA. Sure you can as long as you can match at least 60-70% of your JDs with NOC 1111.

I can match with duties, I have NTS for FAR and currently preparing to take a test...

Do you advise me to take a chance and apply for 1111 as well, should I make separate package, or separate forms, and make a copier of supporting documents??

Hi there,

Few weeks back I wrote an email to CIC asking about the status of my application. Today they have replied stating that it has been returned because it was deemed incomplete. It also says that a letter of explanation is with the package which is sent via ordinary mail. They sent the package on 4th Jul. I haven't received the package yet. Any idea how much time does it take to reach back to India (Pune)?

1.Has almost finished gathering the docs. PCC is on its way. I was actually waiting to take the DD in the last moment for getting maximum validity. Tried ICICI bank and some other banks but seems like none of them have CAD DDs in my area. Thomas Cook is having. But they are saying that i must submit the embassy letter along with the passport copy for getting DD. Can anyone kindly let me know what mandatory documents need to be submitted for DD so that I can convince them? As you guys already know that we wont be having any embassy or visa related documents while applying the first time?

2.In the Generic Application form, can the fax number column be left blank as I dont have one?

CAP updates are being released on Tuesdays after every two weeks as per the trend so far. So, I am assuming new CAP update will be released tomorrow morning by CIC.

Please guide me, I am in deep trouble.

My visa consultant is saying to me that your name must be on my wife's passport and my wife's name must be on my passport, Is it true?

WES credential authority will take 4 months to give ECAS certificate to eligible for FSW 2014? My agent is telling me like this and he wants more money from me.

B.Com (Accounting and Auditing) a three year course studied in India......is valid in Canada or not?

I have 6.5 years of work experience as an Accountant.
I got 6.5 band L 6, R 7, W 6 and Speaking 6.5
My wife is dental surgeon and got 5 band in each module in GT IELTS
my age is 33 years
I have CAD $ 20,000 balance

Last year viz 2013 i enrolled into Masters Program....completed theory part (I st yr)...though i do not hav the degree certificate for it...as i'll grad this yr. So shuld i mention this study in application..if yes then are Credential Assessements required as i hav only mark sheets of theory subjects. and will i get points for such yet to complete studies???
