Hi Guys,

can you please help me in clarifying a few queries on the forms filling..

a) I'm currently desingated as Associate and falls under NOC 2173, but my nature of duties are Software Testing...What do i need to mention in the current occupation and intented occupation in the general application form

b) In the econmic class form, it is mentioned as "Identify the primary occupation and corresponding four-digit NOC 2011 code that will be used to assess whether your application meets the minimum program requirements.''....Do i need to mention the primary occupation name as ''Software Engineers and Desgineers''' even though my nature of job is related to Testing...

c) I have done my schooling for 12 years and UG for 3 years and PG for 3 years..how do i split up to fill for the Primary/Seconday/Post-Secondary/University

Can you please advise does the application again gets evaluated (for no. of points) at local VO after CIC evaluates and send the file to local VO.

Also, I believe CIC evaluates the points before charging the fees.

Fee is charged after completeness check which is stage 1 of application process.

And points calculation is done by a different team all together and by the trend, it seems to happen after payment.

Not sure if the points are calculated again at VO.

Hi, I am 21st May Applicant, received PER on the 9th of September. Could anyone share a tentative timeline by when LVO might be sending MR or AOR?

I think they do. They might also do a detailed check of the documents submitted, may be with certain country specific checks which are not possible to be done by CIC. Some of the members have come back earlier stating CIC has come back asking for more documents to substantiate their experience, without which they will fall below 67 points and their application will be rejected.

We can say, VO might do a more details check of what CIC has done earlier. This could probably the time gap between PER and MR.
