Hi Seniors,

I just got some update from a friend who hired a consultant , and that consultant quoted , he has had many rejections for applications sent by him for the Job details reference letters that are not on company letter head.

He quoted that reference letters prepared by individuals themselves ( maybe getting it notarzied ), still did not help.

Now i know there is a lot of jibber jabber that flies around , but its getting on my nerves since i did not have the reference letter on company letter head , has any of you ( all the seniors or people that have got PER ) - seen any trend like that or maybe any of you who did not provide the company letter head , got PER ??

please reply !! :) more the number of replies , more calm the people with similar dilemma will get !!

Thanks in advance

Sorry bro but you are wrong here.

No PCC is required for minor dependents below 18 years. Quote from CIC website :

To immigrate to Canada, you and any family members 18 years of age and older must provide police certificates to the visa office if asked to do so.

Regards

Will do all that you've mentioned. Have already scheduled a pick-up by UPS, documents would reach 25th afternoon by 2 PM. Thanks for your wishes!

Regarding Issue/Acceptance of PCC for Delhi, India

PCC issued from Delhi Police (h__p://delhipolice.nic.in/). Fill the online form, pay the fees online, you will get within 2 days, if living at same address for more than 4 years.
According to my query posted to NDVO, PCC issued by Delhi Police & Digitally Signed is acceptable.

PCC issued from RPO, Delhi. It is always accepted, no second thoughts about it.

I think you already know the answer. Cic people are not dumb and they wońt accept ref letter not in the format asked, they want to make sure ref letter are written by companies ONLY so be prepared you will have to provide new ones.

Guys,

I have a panic question! Was going through list of rejections in the spreadsheet. I am sending my application today, so thought of validating what's the "danger" areas.

Saw one reason as: "Forgot to sign fee form". I am sending a DD as payment mode, in that case I don't see any reason to sign the form. Am I right?

Please advise, thanks as always!!

Since you are using DD, no need to sign the form because you are submitting the fee in the form of draft to CIC. wherreas in case of CC, person has to give his accent by signing the form to charge the fee. hope its clear. send your from. Best of Luck...

Dear All,

I am going to lodge my application tomorrow. Please tell me one thing that my IELTS exam i going to expire on 25th Jan, 2015. Would that be ok ?

Does Local VO ask applicant to send update PCC even though applicant has sent PCC once with application..?? or Local VO just ask for PCC to whom who didn't send any PCC with Application before..??

Thanks for the reply , But the point is that last year , ref letters not on company letter head were accepted , and i am not implying CIC is dumb in any way when i say did not provide the ref letter on company letter head , that is because the company policy does not allow to do so , and for that an affidavit , notarized with the reasons ( company policy , Job description ) everything basically wanted by CIC is provided , just not on Company letter head.

So that is why m asking , has there been a case where people like me who could not get a company letter head ref letter and had a affidavit notarized got PER , were there application accepted ??
