Hi all,
Is it possible to use someone else's credit card as mine isn't international one.
I have a cousin who lives in Canada. I could use his credit card.

Yes u can. But you have to fill in the details of the payee (cousin in your case) in the fee form

Dear,

Anyne has experience for Police Clearance (Good Conduct) Certificate from Dubai, UAE. I finished finger stamp form in UAE Consulate in Paris but they refused to send it for me. They said I shoud have friends living in Dubai to help me because Dubai Police will issue this minimum in 6 months if I send them by myself from abroad.

Anyone can share what you have done to get it rapidly? Or do you know any service to deal this?

Hi Friends,

Can anyone please let me know the exact process of getting PCC from PSK ITO..

I don't see any option where I can pay online.. Also how to take appointment.. I guess I can take appointment only after paying the fees..

Can I go directly without appointment with filled form and pay the fees there..

Please confirm..

Thanks

You will necessarily need to take the appointment online to visit PSK.

First Read PCC issuance instructions on http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/pccOnlineApp
Then go to http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/welcomeLink and REGISTER YOURSELF.

After this, login using the userID and password and select "Apply for Police Clearance Certificate". Fill up the details and make payment when prompted.

Simple...

Guys,

I second you....

As per my understanding, banks in Canada offers variety of promotional offers to new immigrants. There are couple of reputed banks such as Scotia and TD, offers the same. Such as free checkbooks, minimum balance waive off, free goodies, and free teller and card services are among these. These may vary from bank to bank and some times it varies from branch also. I would still encourage to open the bank account there itself, once you land, and the services, charges and offers suites you very best. I believe opening the bank account and applying the credit card is among the high priority activities after your landing. In-fact some banks also offers you instant credit card, it means from that day itself you can maintain/build your credit history...and that will be very helpful for the future prospects. So, I would say keep your options open, and pick a bank that suits your need.

Cheers!

Try ICICI bank if U r from India, they have good network of branches in canada, atleast in Toronto. Transferring money to India, getting a CC are quite easy. In the Canada ICICI branches, u find people speaking Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and other Indain languages....
