Any idea on validity of PR visa? I mean, when one gets his Visa under FSW, for how much time he can defer his landing?

Please guide, I have submitted PCC (UK & India) alongwith my application for FSW, do I need to submit it again once my file reaches New Delhi VO, as I can see most of the applicants submitting it while doing medical.

Finally...sharing the good news:

Just now, ICICI Bank has confirmed that my DD was en-cashed on 17th Sept.

App Rcvd Date: 28th May
NOC: 2171
DD Charged: 17th Sept

First and foremost, no one can be sure about the cap predictions. but I can tell you that last year the cap of 300 reached on first week of August. So, I am speculating that you will be in cap. . . . . But, if I were you, I will not waste time and start preparing for Express Entry (only because, EE will open in Jan 2015 and you will hear about outcome at a later stage) . . . . .My views are personal . . . . . but I hope you found it useful . . .

Guys, I am bit in doubt and need expert advice from members of this forum. I applied on 22/05 and my DD was encashed on 10/09 but I haven't received PER email from CIC. However, I tried logging in ECAS using my UCI number and it says 'In Process' . . . . now what does this mean:

1.) Are they still verifying my employment details or,

2.) They sent me an email but I missed it accidentally . . . . .

I apologise, that my doubt is very naive but I need advice. . . . . . b'cos I hate sleepless nights . . . .

If you submitted your PCC along with your application you don't need to submit it again. However if they take more than a year to process your application they might ask for the PCCs again.

They encashed my DD on July 23rd and gave me the PER on Aug 19th i.e. almost a month. So you still have some time. On the good side my MR came on Sept 16 i.e. less than a month . I'd say don't worry, take it easy.

You must have also got the UCI no. Write to NDVO and ask them to make necessary changes.

Start with US PCC first as it seems that takes time, I have sent the app in Sept first week and still even the credit card is not charged ... Applied for Indian PCC in SF Consulate and got a call within 3 days its ready have to just go and pick it up now.
