Hi Al,

My application received on June 4 th and received by Glen. I have not put the letter which gives my roles and responsibilites as my company is not provided to me. But i keep all the documents from Appointment letter, Joining letter and all hike letters what i had till now.

is it ok or not? When can i expect the file number from CIC.

Please help me please

they will not. try to send some fax describing ur duties self attested.!!

and share the HR mail also to make them understand ur concern..reference leter is must.

Am afraid that ur file may be already git rejected.
As we heard 12 june n 9 june applicants got their packets back...
Job duties letter is mandatory...CIC can judge u through job duties only, all other docs are supporting docs...
Its hard to believe but u r in grt danger my friend..

Dear All, This is just to make u cautious that Your Local Visa Office may check your LinkedIn , Facebook and Twitter Profile for background checking.


Usually most of the background checking responsibility is handed over to third parties which can includes employer verification/police clearance confirmation etc. So who have these Social website profiles are suggested to sync with ur application provided job designation (or "Make Invisible to Everyone" on privacy settings).

I have observed one Indian applicant (on 2012) whose Linkedin profile was indicating that he had worked on Law background but he is an Electrician under which he applied...

Later on he was asked for an interview by his Canadian Case officer...She behaved so rudely with the applicant for the mismatch between his application and LinkedIn profile.

As per applicant, he was actuaally an Electrician but he had taken law degree beside of this and practiced for this law activities.He have not declared his law degrees and jobs on his Schedule A background declaration form. Later he admitted his fault that he hid on his app.

The case officer was not satisfied what applicant declared on the interview....

That thread member have not updated his status later.

I am also on the same boat, 26th may DD applicant NOC 1112, checked with my Bank on monday they said DD is outstanding, no PER mail till date.
I'm so terrified ??? :'(don't know what is going to happen.

Guys, is it the right time to send an email to CIC asking them the status? Its going to take them 3-4 weeks to reply anyways, the more i delay this the longer it will take for a response to reach me, if they are sending the package back. Then i will have even lesser chances (less time)to apply in another related NOC that is not too hot.

Pls advise

Job duties are must if u have to claim points for that job... it can be either from ur supervisor or hr. You have posted this concern too late on this forum. But still you may get a reference letter stating ur job duties in each position held with period worked in each position in line with the noc u have applied. Working hours/ stating that u are a full time employee. Annual salary. With name contact no email etc of the person issuing that letter. Send that letter with a cover letter with a request to include new reference letter to ur original application. Mention ur all details full name, passport no. Dob country application filling date waybill number received by and received time etc. So they can easily identify u and ur application.
Send them a email today mentiining that u are sending additional docs through courior today also send new couriour details and send a scanned copy of ur new letter ( thiugh they dont accept dcuments sent over mail ) for their reference.

Do it asap .... no no do it now

You need to hurry up just as vind said. 4th June is round the corner and it will result in sureshot rejection without the job responsibilities. Get that from HR/supervisor/colleague asap and send the physical copy with complete reference to the previous package. In addition to what Vind said, also take a chance with faxing the cover letter for this and the reference letter.

The mail template can be on below lines as used by robsmann to attach his additional docs.

If you are not getting your refusal package , how would come to know what are "pending " documents.?
If they are not counting your Old DD then how can you expect old forms n documents will suffice and you just need to send so called additional documents .

Please let us know the name of your reputated consultant .


(I hope they don't work under the name "crook consultants" )
