Hi,
My application (for 2174 (NOC)) is received by "London, Ontario, Canada" office on September 4th. As per the CIC website current CAP status for 2174 category is 662. Can I hope that my application will fall under cap? What is minimum initial screening time for received application?. Can someone provide some information on this?

Thanks in Advance,
Srikanth

Why did you send your application to London office?? I guess FSW1 applicants had to send their applications to Sydney NS. Dear Members correct me if I am wrong.

Regards

Did you pick the lines from HRSDC?? See below, your reference letter should match around 60-70% from this below

"Software engineers and designers perform some or all of the following duties:
Collect and document users' requirements and develop logical and physical specifications
Research, evaluate and synthesize technical information to design, develop and test computer-based systems
Develop data, process and network models to optimize architecture and to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs
Plan, design and co-ordinate the development, installation, integration and operation of computer-based systems
Assess, test, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures for operating systems, communications environments and applications software
May lead and co-ordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software and other embedded software control systems."
Do u think below should work??

• Requirement gathering and documentation
• Software Test Design including application script preparation and data preparation
• Software Test Execution including executing performance test runs
• Software Test Analysis including preparing performance test reports and analysis files
• Client interaction for understanding requirements
• Software Test planning
• Mentoring team members
I mean do u see 60-70% relevance between the above two descriptions??

Hello Buddy,
HI.
I have a very Similar (Well Almost Same) Case as yours:
I am from Delhi.
I wanted to Apply for FSW 2014 programme.
I consulted WWICS (Mohali) for the Same.
They told about WES Requirement.
I Check Degree Equivalency tool,Found Amity in AIU not on the WES Approved University List.
Now the apprehension in my mind is that whether or not to go with it.?
Can You provide some information for the same?
I have done my BTech [IT] from there.
Please throw some Light (Prakash Dalay ???) ???

Thanks in Advance

Can someone shed some light on this? I called Hong Kong Police Department in regard of the PCC. I was told that they need an official letter from the Consulate for the PCC request. Meanwhile, the PCC request from London visa office is a line within the email. Is there a way to contact them for issuing a PCC request on a paper with letterhead (or something similar to letterhead). Or, can I ask the Canadian Consulate in Hong Kong to issue a letter instead? The person on the phone told me that they would not accept a printed email as there is no way for them to verify the authenticity of the request.

I am not too sure Bro, seniors your views here. Suprising that they are not accepting the Email request printed as a proof. Just a thought would it help if you were to forward the email to the HK Police department and in the process validate it as authentic request from the immigration body?

Floating transactions take a while (a day or two) to appear in credit card statement. You can check with your bank if its authorized from their end. If bank has already authorized the transaction, only way for it to fail is when CIC (merchant) refuses the tranaction.
