Lol. Just kidding. Its most likely a mistake from CIC. They couldn't have possibly encashed only half of the DD. Send an email to confirm anyway.

My application was submitted to cic on September 02, 2014. I have applied under FSW category, NOC - 2133. Is there any possibility that my card gets charged for the fee with in a month's time? I have heard from some one in Canada, personally known to me, who told me that his card got charged in 15 days after he had applied online. I dont know how true is that..... is it really possible?

I am May 28th applicant; my ECAS status shows "In Process". Is there any chance of this getting converted to PER? I paid through demand draft.

Same thing Happened to me bro,...A day before i got my PER my ECAS was updated as In Process...Not to worry you will get PER tomorrow or Monday for sure..Congrats buddy

Does processing of application depends upon the points claimed by applicant? Say if somebody has 5 points more than other, will his/her application be processed faster to receive PER etc.????

Kindly suggest.

At the time of application to NS CIO, I submitted my POF as fixed deposit certificates, which were getting mature in start of 6 Aug 2014. Then once my fixed deposit get matured, I had to renew them. So obviously new fixed deposit certificates has new number on them (Different from what i sent). I have already received my PER on 21 Aug 2014.

Do you think this can create any problem? What should I do in this case, as PER says dont send documents unless requested.

Is the 2174 cap already full?

The "Estimated date by which your application should be received to be in the cap" field of the "Realistic estimate" section in the "Apps by NOC / Cap estimates" tab says: "Cap became full on 9/10/2014?"

However, the "CIC Caps" tab says that the 2174 occupation is currently at 662 people...

No it is on first received first served basis.
