For all Singapore candidate, those who seek PCC / COC from Singapore, I have a info to share with you;

I have applied for COC on 15/09/2014 , even I don't get any requisition from CIC or from local VO! As per the CIC, PCC guidelines for Singapore we must required a requisition plus a COC appeal form from the respective embassy.

According to my experience, you can download the form their website and fill it before you go with relavant documents what they required but I dont have any requistion, instead I have submitted the PER email plus document check list where it clearly mentioned the required PCC from the stay after 18 years of your age.

I went down to COC Office located at Block D Police Cantonment Complex, #02-07/08, 391 New Bridge Road, Singapore 088762 around morning 11:00 with my family ( wife & kid) and took Que number. But I have noticed that same application form you can get it from there, as they diffrentiated the application form between Citizen and Non - citizen and you can find an additional form of "APPEAL" which you won't get it from Online. You have to fill it and submit along with other documents.

Upon on my turn I have submitted the documents to officer, he have reviewed my application and asked how long you staying in Singapore? I said going to be Five years and then he asked me can you tell me your and wife FIN number and he do some preliminary screening from the computer database. Then asked me how you want to pay, by CASH, NETS, VISA/MASTER? I said Master, S$ 55.00 per applicant and total of S$ 110.00 for both of us.

He told me the processing time is 15 working days (10 days in Website) and I can do COC self collection on the 15th day and he written on behind of the payment slip and ask me to wait for Finger print and I have waited for 20 minutes and they have taken almost 8 -10 different sort of finger prints (Both Right & Left)

I was really in dilemma, whether they will accept my application without any PCC requisition. I believe the requisition stated in CIC Wwebistite basically for Singapore citizen or PR, and moreover they send COC directly to CIC /VO for Citizen / PR (Only my perspective)

Hello Guys,
I am unable to obtain experience letter from one of the company in the desired format,is that possible that i can write all job duties on a plain paper and notarized that paper....
Thanks

There have been some cases in the forum where self declared job description (notarized or not) was not sufficient.

However again there have been cases where forum members were not able to get experience letters from their companies so they opted to get the job description signed by their immediate supervisors (with supervisor's company/contact information) and that had worked for some.

In a nutshell; please try again to get an official document stating your job responsibilities; if not an experience letter then something else (on company letterhead) which describes your job description, do not rely on just the notarized self declaration.

I myself was in the same boat; however after the application had been received at NS, I got the experience letter so I have sent it as an additional document. I hope the document finds it way. Good luck!

My application was submitted to cic on September 02, 2014. I have applied under FSW category, NOC - 2133. Is there any possibility that my card gets charged for the fee with in a month's time? I have heard from some one in Canada, personally known to me, who told me that his card got charged in 15 days after he had applied online. I dont know how true is that..... is it really possible?

Its not possible at all....as you are in Que and process is not too much fast at the moment...

By the grace of Almighty Allah I got my PER few days ago. My VO is SGVO.

I got an opportunity to do my MS in advertising Leeds university with 70% scholarship. I don't want to miss it. But my problem is

1. if I go to uk with a 1 year student visa will there be any problem to my application.
2. will my visa office remain the same
3. My employer will not let me leave he is ready to grant me an unpaid leave.
4. My wife will not go with me. Will that create any problem.
Please seniors help me with this issue.

1. No brother. It is unlikely you will get canadian visa within 1 year.
2. Yes
3. So what is the issue? After getting AOR, inform your VO that you will go UK on unpaid leave for pursuing education.
4. Go where? If UK - no issue.
