So PCC needs to be sent when VO asks for it. What is the usual timeline? When will VO ask for it? I still need to to apply for PCC from Indian consulate in Washington DC and it could take 4-8 weeks to receive it.

When you receive PER is a good time to initiate the process.

completness check before applications are put in queue for CC/DD charge... Also if he received the package back by mail, and as CIC uses regular post, that means, 9th June application were checked for completeness, some 15 or 20 days back to today approximatelty.

What do you others have to say? we have seen many such cases these past 2 weeks.... i also remember someone from June mid/end informing that his HR got a reference call for job duties .... :-\

In all probability, completeness check is currently on for End of June / Early july applicants. This also explains the 700+ increase over the week in the CAP updates!

Hi Seniors,

I have a doubt. For last 12 hours I have been watching the quotes of our friends regarding the CAP list Updated by CIC yesterday , many of them says its based on the complete application received by CIC, others saying its is based on the list of PER. I have applied for NOC 2173 on August 25th. As per the trend of giving PER by CIC is around 50 in each week, as of now it is 294, if this trend would continue , it might be capped with august applicant
Can you tell me what is the parameter of updating cap list by CIC? is it based on PER or Complete application?
and what would be the future of my application? would it be through ?

bro, I already sent additional package by dhl and mailed them today as well.

now planning to file a complete fresh application just for being on the safe side.

I was told that it was better to send in another fresh application. You could do it too and hope that one of them gets through.

But @namaste has said that it is not recommended to send in 2 applications for the same NOC. So maybe you could check with more people.

I have already received my PER, currently waiting to hear anything from my Local VO which is New Delhi.

Nowadays I am in United States for long term work assignment.
Based on the reply I got from you all about getting a PCC from Indian Consulate in US. I was curious to know whether anyone have any experience of getting PCC from Indian Consulate in United States, how much time does they usually take to issue a PCC.

Can anyone from my family get PCC in India on my behalf ?

Please share any experience.

Just to share an experience. I applied for my India's PCC from US Atlanta Consulate and Got it in exactly a week.
I hope NDVO will consider the PCC issued by Consulate.

No. Please wait few more weeks, there are many applicants even of May 14th onwards waiting for their CC/DD to be charged. Also you can meanwhile send a mail to CIC asking for your application status.

No, but how could CIC attempt payment for 12th JUN DD? Does this seem logical?

The stated issue is with "payment". Unlike CC, any issue with DD would be caught at the completeness check stage, i.e. way earlier than they even try to encash it. Such issues could be - use of wrong currency, maybe bank clerk messed up the date (2013 instead of 2014), or maybe they the DD got mixed up/lost while CIC was handling the application.

Or worst still: CIC clicks on certain predefined templates to inform the clients. Maybe clerk sending out email clicked on the template with wrong reason, while the reason for rejection is altogether different.

But, completeness check process is through mid june already is plausible, given some such posts earlier too.

In your second application, did you ask them to cancel your first application? I am not sure how CIC is going to process. Usually, it is not advisable to send two applications for the same NOC.
What I think you should do is tell them only of the additional document and not mention the second application. When you receive PER, you can ask them to disregard the second app. Although I don't know how you would know which application they processed. Wait for response from other people.

I agree with namaste here... I suggest send them a mail detailing all of this.

I just want to be assured about how to fill schedule 3 -economic classes form. If I am single, what should I do with the questions consrening the partner or the spouse? Should I tick the x or leave it blank. Some forum members said that we should tick x and other said that it could be left blank, so I am a bit confused.

if its mentioned 'if applicable' u can leave it blank. If not, select x or No.... don't stress about this.
