Hi Canol,

When do you think the application for 2174 should have reached to be on safer side ???
because my application reached them on 23rd july. in case if they have to return the application due to cap limit, will they update us through e-mail or do we just have to wait for the documents to reach us on our address ???

looking at today's update, it seems this NOC will fill up faster than expected, unless it slows down again later..
Earlier expected date for CAP to reach as per me was 7th Aug 2014, but now it might be closer.

I still have a feeling this will slow down a bit later and you should be safe. We will have to wait and watch.

Hi

Got the PER mail & Fees acknowledgment receipt today. Thanks for the Almighty!!!.

However, no further Step is mentioned in the mail. Can you please what will be the next course of actions?

Thanks
Gaurav Sharma

Congrats...:)

Experts !! i got a question...

The initial application examination might be done by a common CiC person.. who goes throught any NOC app of that date..

when it comes to PER stage... do u think the same people, randomly do it.. or they have people who go through those respective NOC only...

like NOC2132 is one of the hot NOC, and I just saw a person, who got PER today and he is 15th May applicant.. and even i see a person in SS who is 2133 ( same as mine) and has received PER already..

your opinion please

Language test results expired 17 days after the application has been received.

This means, they now want the IELTS to be valid till the date it is received at CIC
Am i right?

That was always the case. IELTS should be valid the date CIC receives the application. Only in rohan85's case they made a blunder. So happy CIC, has accepted this error and reached out to rectify the same :)

Thanks for letting me know... M sorry i might have missed ur reply... Will do that tmrw without fail...Do i need to mention my application courier number in it as a reference or u tell me how to go with it??

Thanks in advance

This is what OScar7 did and worked for him: include UCI (if available), Passport #, DOB, NOC and Original App. Received Date details in a cover letter that also explains the situation. Send a scanned copy of the coverletter via e-mail as well.

Make sure that you also include updated forms of they require passport info. And clearly mark the envelope as an additional document.

Guys, just now got a mail from Mr. xyz from CIO:

Good morning,

Rohan Gupta
19xx/xx/xx
UCI xxxxyyyy

Due to a possible administrative oversight, your application package that was received on May 9, 2014 at CIO-Sydney was returned to you. Please return the complete application package including processing fees and photographs to CIO-Sydney for review to the address below. In order to ensure it reaches my desk, please be sure to include the attention line. If it is sent via courier, please send an e-mail with the courier tracking number, the name of the courier company and the date sent so that I can track it. For this email, please use the ATTENTION: xyz in the subject line.

Courier Address:
Centralized Intake Office
ATTENTION: xyz
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney NS B1P 5Z2
Canada

It is important to address the package as requested to avoid any further delays.

I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Sincerely,
XYZ

My IELTS TRF would arrive by this weekend. Also, some forms have been updated on the CIC website. Seniors, please advise if:

1. I should send the actual returned package as it is
2. I should prepare a new package and send it to Mr. XYZ as indicated

It would be great if you could send my a PM on my query rather than replying on the forum as it gets very tough to track responses. Please advise senior members.

Thanks,
Rohan85

I sent the bank certificates with my account and balance details. But the certificates contained account details in in the local currency and not the Canadian dollars. Was it mandatory to have attached accounts details equivalent in CAD..? WORRIED :'(

This conversion to CAD for bank certificates / statements is not required. Bank statements will always have amounts mentioned in local currency. Shouldn't worry about this too much !!

This letter gets even more sweeter each time it is re-posted :D ;D

@ Rohan85, hats off to you boss. Your case should be an inspiration to others who have been short-changed by CIC, this is 2nd instance after Amitraj's case where CIC has reversed it's decision and corrected itself. Kudos to them!!

Looking at all this, the CIC cap update and correlating it with what Dmitry did yesterday, he was 100% spot on. Dont know what prompted him to do this change, but he predicted it very well. Congrats buddy!!
