Hello All,

I am new to this forum, so first of all congratulations to all who have revd their MRs', PERs' , CC/DD charged....

I sent my application on Sept 02,2014 n the same was delivered to CIO on Sept 10,2014 ( as per the DTDC courier records)... I wanted to know whether i wud recv any confirmation/receipt from CIO stating my application has been revd by them or will it be some reply after 2-3months..

Hi,

There cannot be any confirmation from CIC about ur file received. It's ur courier company who gives the time, place and name of the CIC person who receives it...If you need and email confirmation u can send an inquiry email after a month or so....u will get a reply by 30-35 days, according to current trend, after u send the email.

Thanks for the advice TRK1. U r right theres no harm in sendin a new ref letter with the details of working hours per week.

I ll quote l details on top of courier package n inside a cover letter explaining the additional doc, is there any other info i can mention to facilitate the linkage of additional doc with my app already received by CIO.?

P.S. U mentioned currently they are checkin june apps for completeness, how long do you think they reach to sep apps.

If you dont have UCI# (previous applicant under any class) , mention your NOC Category, Passport Number, Country, First name, last name, Date of Birth, Date of Receipt of your application @ CIC.

My estimate is they start in October end checks..and the earliest CC charge we should expect in 2nd-3rd week of November...it will run all the way to Jan 015 by the time 95% will have their PERs.

as per SS 2171 total applicants is 307 , Considering that SS represent 30% of global applicants..
Do this mean 2171 already filled?

Please Advise ASAP as im planning to send my file by oct?

Pessimistic views, assuming the same rate of flow as the initial month of applications, it will be over by mid september. But we all know the rate of flow will drastically fall after the first month, as most of the first month applicants are previous experienced / capped / PR relatives. So if you manage to send by mid of October, I am very hopeful.

I could not send the copies of my kids passport with my application as it was being printed ( what PSK said for delayed delivery ) n now i got both the PP's... So can I send these copies once I get my UCI number or should I wait for them to ask for it?

You need to show evidence only for settlement fund (that is your bank account). No evidence is needed for asset or liability.

If I knew earlier that I did not need to send evidence for asset and liability, I wouln't have had to struggle to get a letter of my bank informing the status of my house mortgage and its current market value plus a certified sworn translation of that letter... :-[

Hope all is good. My husband is applying for NOC 4011, We are applying hopefully 25 of October if all goes well, do you think we have a chance? Also we are a bit confused with the translations of all documents, all our documents are in spanish and have to be translated to english, do our documents have to be signed and stamped by our legal translator or do they have to be signed by somebody else aswell, also when CIC says copies not originals do we have to send copies of translated document and copy of original document in spanish? Those copies have to be certified?

Sure in the safe circle for 4011 till December.
All documents not in French or English need to be necessarily translated by legal translators. They should Notarize also on the photocopies of the ORIGINAL, along with the translated copies. Ensure in the spanish copies, it is highlighted what document it is..."True copy of Birth Certificate...." etc. with the notary sign, date and details. All the best!
