From now, officially it is 9th May.

Yes century... According to the courier company (purtolator) tracking details my application received on 7th May @ 9:47 am by Mike... But when I check my ECAS it is showing they received on 9th May. Either the courier company gave me the false info or Does CIC take my application for initial verification on 9th May ... Since i got PER mail I ignored this descrepency. Which one is correct info god knows!!!

PF is liquid and can be shown as POF.

When you leave for Canada, you are obviously going to quit your current job. And as per Indian regulations, PF and other retirals have to be cleared by the employer within 30 days of last day of service of an employee.

One more help then .. How do I get an original statement for my PF account.

I am currently on http://members.epfoservices.in/ .. and it prints statement till Oct - 2013 only.

Plus is doent say that this is generated today .. we need to show a fairly recent statement to CIC right?

where do I go to get a latest original statement... thanks

Yes every thing unbound because your application will be distributed to team of VO/Staff for completeness check, In my case I did not use any staple but I use three paper clip for DD, Photo and translation + affidavit

Oh ok. Now I understand. I've already stapled them. You think I should ptint them out from the begining or it's good if I remove the staples? Those little wholes in the papers. ..are they important?

I want to bring to your attention entry number 94 on the spreadsheet. The entry by Helenmama claims to have received a MR from the CHC in Accra. Note that the entry claims that the application was received by CIC on the 17th of December, which is 94 days into the future!!!

Additionally, Helenmama also claims that the average IELTS band is 5.5. If the average IELTS bands is 5.5, one or more sectional scores must have been less than 6. A score of less than 6 on any section would make an application ineligible, let alone recieve a MR.

Because you specialize in database, most appropriate NOC for you is 2172. It's also advised to select that one because it just has 30 completed applications so far, as per CIC, so you'll have good chances of falling within cap even if you apply in October. It's definitely much much safer than 2173. Hope this makes sense.

Reg ECA: Do we need transcript also for school examination board (mine is CBSE) i.e. 10th/12th? I know engineering university marksheet & certificates are mandatory

Another doubt: What happens if they reject my application at any stage? Do they refund the money?

Name of Institution: Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi
Equivalency in Canada: Community College Diploma (3 years)

And for Advances diploma in French (3 years) there was no option to select ADVANCED DIPLOMA, it was giving option only for Bachelors and Masters.

So what's the point status based on bachelors ???

Next statement you will get in Oct 2014. Most of the times there is no way to get the recent statement. CIC knows these issues and will consider.

Just in case, you can add a note in the cover letter mentioning that Statement as of Oct 13 is provided for PF and if required, you are ready to provide Oct 14 PF statement, once the same is available.

Hi Guys

I promised that i will share my silly mistakes I did while sending my application. my CC got charged yesterday.. lets hope for the PER now

1. I am working in Saudi Arabia so I did not write London as a visa office, i wrote Abu Dhabi ( which does not deal the immigration applications)
2. I did not put the bar code page on the top, I found it weired as the application was having page number accordingly
3. My birth certificate and my spouse BC has a spelling error of "E" instead of "I" and "I" instead of "E". even pronounciation is same i did not attach any covering letter to it.
4. I forgot to write the names in native language in one of the forms
5. The main duties column was left blank it was so small to accomodate my JD so I ignored it and I said, I already have my reference letters attached
6. My wife was appearing in IELTS on 7th June but I had to send my application on 28th May, so I wrote a note on simple paper, that I am checking the box that my wife is proficient in english and is going to appear in IELTS on 7th June, attached the receipt of it and promised to send them the result later, which i did not send yet, as I am having enough points and did not have UCI #, so I thought I will send it to the LVO once asked for update of documents.
if i remembered any more, il let u know... the reason i am writing this is that CIC ignores small mistakes.. so nothing to worry about specially the guys who have just sent applications and than realized ooohhhh i miss this and that
