hey..just got to know a strange thing from a lawyer based in Canada ( i/he may be completely wrong ) . Just thought whats wrong in sharing and knw if its even true. He told me that out of 25000 only 11000 will count towards open entry in FSW..rest is reserved for people with arranged employment n all..I repeat i may be wrong..

This is not right.
those arranged employment entries are different. Clearly mentioned on CIC website.

Dude,

Sorry to hear about your case, I would encourage you to file the application again with the updated forms and info, you can use the same job reference letter. And also would appreciate if you update the entry in the SS, as I didn't find your case details there.

I believe your application was received at CIC on 2-June, so it's means CIC has initiated the process of checking the document completeness for June people.

Cheers!

Sorry dude. I am really confused and I cant think clearly.
Please Clearly tell me the answer to the followings
1) As far as I understood, I dont need to change job reference letter or bank report or even police certificate, is that true?

2) I guess I have to just resend the old application together with their letter and the missing document back to CIO, is that true?

Dear Seniors,

I was going through the ss and observed some entries for the first week of may, some of them charged and some of them received PER, but no further update after that. What could be the case with these, from your past experience. Some reason i could think of is, ss not being updated, got rejected, fake entries, etc. But, your experience might nail down more appropriate reason, please enlighten.

In most cases, these are outdated/abandoned entries.
We can't avoid it and it's often difficult to detect them clearly, but at least for analytics it's usually taken care of, where necessary.

how do i save the spreadsheet on my desktop ..

Hi, I have sent my application on June 4th. I have also sent additional documents on 29 August. Further to that I have sent mail and fax. But still now no response from them. I'm also afraid whether my package will be back dated. U better try to send fax by giving all ur details, way bill no, application received date etc. Best wishes.

Thanks for the idea. Can you please share the details that you sent through fax. Also, the fax number that you sent it to?

Dear Experts,

I have applied recently (10SEPT14) however I have used the old Schedule 3 (footer date 08-2013). It does have ECA checkbox and signature box. I believe I downloaded this in JULY14.

Do you think I need to resend the new Schedule 3 as the only difference I see in the new one is that it does not have the option for less than 1 year experience.

Can it become a reason for my application rejection or the forms with footer date 08-2013 are safe to use?

Request your kind advise please.

Regards,

Well it is mechanical engineering NOC 2132. They received it on June 2th.
The updates are just about my signatures, my working period.
Should I update the police certificate? or bank report?

Hi amirbahiraee,

Sry to hear about your app, time has not yet passed for NOC 2132, if you send it again quickely, within sept, u'll be in CAP. U should have sent copy of foreign educational credentials, the original is not required.
By the way, how did you come to know about the rejection, did you get the letter physically or through email??

What are the documents acceptable as Proof of Funds while landing in Canada.

I am planning to show following documents.
USA 401K Statement
USA Bank Statement
India NRE Account Bank Statement
India Bank Fixed Deposits

1. Do I need to carry original bank fixed deposit receipts OR having a scanned copy of them is enough? I am currently in USA so if I need to arrange for getting the original FD receipts from India then I will need some time to do that. So your guidance in this matter is highly appreciable.
2. Can I transfer money from my India NRE account to my USA Bank account? Which is the safest way to do this? Also will it attract any taxes in India or USA ?
3. Do we have to show these proof of funds while stamping the Canada Immigrant visa in USA or at the time of landing in Canada OR at both the places?

Thanks

401k not acceptable as it can't be withdrawn. All you need are statements. You can move your money from India to the USA if you wish, it here are many ways including withdraw and carry in cash, do a wire transfer, withdraw in the form of a demand draft made out to yourself, etc. Ask your bank. If you don't need the money until you get to Canada maybe just wat to move it directly to Canada rather than movin to the USA first. You won't be taxed on money you bring into the USA from a foreign country (there are exceptions but you probably don't fall under one of them), but you do have to declare it and fill out a form if it is $10K or more.

1. The Push-back theory has proven to be wrong again and again. So don't worry on this.

2. If you send to many documents again and again, it may cause disturbance. If I were you, I won't say a new additional document again. As long as you provided cover letter, it should be fine.

3. You can take heart from Robsmann's sensational case:
Thanks a lot Century for posting this amazing post of Robsmann that I had missed. :)

Only doubt in mind is the way I have identified my application for the new credit card details. Do you think that the details would be enough for the new credit card details to be added to my original application.

God bless all the awesome forum members who give relief to fellow members in despair!

Dear Seniors please help

When I logged in to check the ECAS , I found the following entry today (yesterday it is was only the first line).

We received your application for permanent residence on May 9, 2014.

"We started processing your application on September 11, 2014. "

What does this means? Does my application transferred to NDVO? or is it going to transfer? Approx how many weeks will take me to get medical request?
