One of my relatives recently went Toronto for visit. He selected Emirates. Service from Dhaka to Dubai is not good however it is excellent from Dubai to Toronto. There was enough foods, good space for legs, and good air-condition. It also took-off and landed on time.

appreciate that.

ok guys this might be pre-mature but asking anyway......currently I m waiting for mr, in the meanwhile I m making pcc and other stuff ready.

I was also thinking about travelling....a bit on economical side. checked on the internet and found out only PIA to be the direct flight to Toronto from Karachi and charging 240000 for 2 adults and 1 child.

one stop flights are emirates, Etihad, Qatar, Turkish...charging 310000, 270000, 340000 & 370000 respectively from Karachi to Toronto having stops in Dubai, abu dhabi, Doha & Istanbul.

there are other flights which are actually "fruit punch custard bowl"...u board one career, it stops on 3 to 4 places, career changed on each stop and finally u reach Toronto. typical example is like Karachi to Dubai by fly Dubai, Dubai to London by emirates, London to Chicago by klm and Chicago to Toronto by air Canada. it costs around 250000. but its an example, the careers can be different and charges can be up and down.

what should I do? I don't want to waste money on business and first class, I will only travel in economy. business or 1st class cost atleast 100000 more on avg. plus I don't want to get tired on long journey selection. like the fruit punch custard course will take anywhere from 22 to 44 hours of journey! man I will be deleted when I land at Toronto with a wife and kid!

what indian and bd members do? what route they select and which flights? how many stops and what are the charges? what if u don't select air india or biman?

also, there is one more thing, the online search service like on google or bing, they show some really cheap flights.....costing 240000 or below! but that option is fruit punch custard, there are 2 to 3 airlines involve and 3 to 4 stops and around 44hrs journey but saving are like 80000 on avg.

please suggest and advice. thanks.

Farhaan,

Are you looking at return fares ?...i guess so !!...

looking at June/July 2015 tickets from Karachi to Toronto, the lowest fare tickets start at INR 137,000 with Turkish airways and with 1 single Istanbul halt. this for 2 adults and 1 child.

Just my 2 cents, every time i have travelled to Ottawa, Canada, it was using British Airways (Bangalore - Paris - Chicago - Ottawa). But my husband has travelled using Air India in the following route (Bangalore - New Delhi - Chicago (14 hours direct) - Ottawa)
Not sure about other routes, and of course the earlier you book your tickets the cheaper...

Also in my experience its best to book through and through rather than separate booking in multiple airlines, as if for instance, your flight is delayed or cancelled, then your entire remaining journey is bumped and is the responsibility if this delayed/cancelled airliner. However in separate bookings, its your responsibility

Hi all,
Can you throw your predictions on the percentage of chances I have if application reaches CIC by 19th sep for NOC 2173
Just to set my mind for expecting what is realistic to hope for.
Thanks all
Priya

My guess is 19th Sept will be just about touch and go.

Even then as per my calculations, this CAP should be reached by applications recd by 4th October at CIC. So you do stand a chance. hurry up and send the application urgently. take your chances while they last...

ok my bad that I didn't mentioned that.........I m looking for one way only, I will be flying and no coming back until getting citizenship :D

so do u suggest these online services are reliable? has anyone used them? is there any chance of fraud or scams? like we book flights and at some point don't get it or come to know our booking was cancelled or booking was never made, other monetary frauds?

thanks a lot for the reply.

Hello dear all,

I have 2 questions about the documents:

1. The bar code pages should be on the top of the application forms. They are 2 pages which contains bar codes and the second page should be signed by the applicant. So my question is: Do I need to separate these pages from the Generic form, put them on the top, and then put the checklist and the the rest page of the Generic form? ??? ???

2. The guide says that the envelop should be 23x30.5 cm. I want to DHL my application and they have one size envelop which is bigger than those measures. What should I do? :o

Thanks in advance

hi guys,

i just have a question,
does they recommend the original copy of WES report ? or a copy of it ?

coz i just saw the original one here in the house so im afraid that i have sent a copy of it ...

or maybe we get 2 WES originals and i have sent 1 and still have one ?

can someone refresh it for me please !!! ???

CIC requires original WES certificate.

WES sends 2 original copies. So relax..Most likely you have sent the original copy. 8)
