i have a query,
i received a sms from my bank stating that my credit card has been charged for CAD 1400/- by citizenship n immigration fsw.

i shared this good news on forum immediately...
when i checked my online bank account summary, there was no debit info,
so i called bank n they said transaction is pending....what does that mean? hw
much chances of rejection ?

CC transactions are 2 stage process. At first stage, only an authorization is taken to debit your account and this amount is blocked in your account (Pending) and at stage 2 the money is demanded by the merchant which in this case is CIC, once the demand is made, it will get billed to your account (next stage in your case).

In which bank you have your account? I am also living in KSA, but my bank never told me any thing like this as My account is in Riyad Bank. I have used my credit card for several purposes inside and outside KSA and also have provided my CC details online to companies where I do purchase for example, I provided my credit card details to CES for getting my degree verified and they were able to use my CC with out any issue. So, I have provided my CC details o CIC and hope they would be able to charge it without any issue.

So I believe if your bank is Riyad bank, should not be an issue? Secondly, some of my friends had their account in SABB bank and they applied in FSWP 2013 program last year and their CC charged without any issue too.

So no worries just double check with bank for this information, Call bank call center, local people sitting in bank do not give that much required information. You know what I mean..!!!

I am in Saudi Arabia too, I had given details of my credit card from NCB (AL AHLI BANK) and my CC got charged yesterday, so i think there is no issue... even 2 days back i called the bank to ask if I need to put CIC as a safe merchant or something like that, he said no its an understanding between U and CIC that u are authorising them to use your credit card. So, I think nothing to worry.
All the best to guys who are waiting to have their CC charged or PER.

do not worry 2133 is even far, it is CHILLED CALCULATION FOR IT
as per SS, it might comes to end of OCT, and PER week 1 of NOV,
but if CIC speeds up results can be reflected 4-5 days ahead as well

I would also say cool calculation "Canol". So, what about 2133, can you please let me know when my CC atleast will be charged and when would I be receiving PER. My app received by CIC on 25th June.

One observation.. I dunt know whether it has been discussed or not.. someone can throw some light on it..

Just saw that sidsun got MR. Congratulations..

Now the NDVO pattern, which i observed is.. they process the file as per the PER date.
They may have given the bulk of files to selected group of persons, for processing, PER date-wise.
The applicants having 7/8 or 8/8 PER date were requested for medical.

Now they have started with sidsun, whoes PER date is 13/8.
Does that mean that now NDVo applicant having 13/8 PER can expect some good news of MR??

Hello Forum Experts,

Really need your help, I am planning to apply for NOC 2173, but as I am waiting for my IELTS exam on 15th Oct'14, I am not able to file my application.

Can anyone confirm if i can post my application without IELTS and once I have IELTS results then send that to CIC seperatly, so that I can be saved of some time and can file application without further delay.

As I am afraid that I am already late for application considering hot NOC 2173.

Also, I am applying through consultancy to who i have paid 55K and they still say dont worry we can file in 1st week of No'14 once u have ll docs and IELTS ready with you, you will be safe for NOC 2173 that time as well, is that true or they just giving me false hope as I apid only 28K and rest I am paying after 1month.

Please give m brief suggetion, as I desparate about this PER for Canada.?
Please giv me view on consultancy as well as they said many people make mistakes in file and they gets rejected so u hav chance in No'14 as well as we will file ur application properly

That totally depends on the officer/group working on your file.... so yes..theres a possibility of 13/8 getting MR requests.. as 12/8 PER also got an MR...
