Hello Forum Experts,

Really need your help, I am planning to apply for NOC 2173, but as I am waiting for my IELTS exam on 15th Oct'14, I am not able to file my application.

Can anyone confirm if i can post my application without IELTS and once I have IELTS results then send that to CIC seperatly, so that I can be saved of some time and can file application without further delay.

As I am afraid that I am already late for application considering hot NOC 2173.

Also, I am applying through consultancy to who i have paid 55K and they still say dont worry we can file in 1st week of No'14 once u have ll docs and IELTS ready with you, you will be safe for NOC 2173 that time as well, is that true or they just giving me false hope as I apid only 28K and rest I am paying after 1month.

Please give m brief suggetion, as I desparate about this PER for Canada.?
Please giv me view on consultancy as well as they said many people make mistakes in file and they gets rejected so u hav chance in No'14 as well as we will file ur application properly

one thing is for sure that your file is not complete without all necessary documents........
so no point of saving time! !!!

i have a query,
i received a sms from my bank stating that my credit card has been charged for CAD 1400/- by citizenship n immigration fsw.

i shared this good news on forum immediately...
when i checked my online bank account summary, there was no debit info,
so i called bank n they said transaction is pending....what does that mean? hw
much chances of rejection ?

Congratulations! dont worry! just give it a day or so to change the status from pending to complete. :-X

Had done this for Manish 2 days back, his application was recd on 7th Aug. You are much more safe as your application was recd on 7th July...

"As per SS, 74 members out of 294 for NOC 2173 have either been charged fees by CC/DD or are in further advanced stages.
As per CIC site 242 is the number for this NOC, of the total CAP of 1000.

This is in line with around 25% representation on this forum. BTW, did not find any entry with your ID. . Pls update SS

There are 51 further members who have sent application before 7th Aug. So considering 25% representation, there are still around 200 entries that must be pending to be processed at CIO. So that makes it 274+200=474....

So you should be safe by the time your turn comes.

i'm living in saudi arabia, my bank told me that if my credit card is going to be used externally then i have to fill some forms. however, if it's used through internet i don't need to do any thing

can any body please confirm how CIC willl charge me using CC?

One observation.. I dunt know whether it has been discussed or not.. someone can throw some light on it..

Just saw that sidsun got MR. Congratulations..

Now the NDVO pattern, which i observed is.. they process the file as per the PER date.
They may have given the bulk of files to selected group of persons, for processing, PER date-wise.
The applicants having 7/8 or 8/8 PER date were requested for medical.

Now they have started with sidsun, whoes PER date is 13/8.
Does that mean that now NDVo applicant having 13/8 PER can expect some good news of MR??

Absolutely no point in sending an app without IELTS..... :-X send the file completely and hope for the best... :-X

Had sent this earlier for Optimist whose application was recd at CC on 3rd Sept and he is safe...Have not found your name in the SS. Pls let me know when you have submitted your application.

Here goes your answer. Just some wild calculations and guesses though.

As per spreadsheet 69 members out of 262 for NOC 2171 have been charged fees or in further advanced stages.

CIC site mentions 191 nos. to date. (again around 33% representation on this forum which is more or less in line with our estimates)

There are 172 members ahead of you as per SS who have submitted their applications before 3rd Sept 2014. Extrapolating, as per 33% representation for this NOC, we get around 510 candidates ahead of you at this stage.

191+510=701.....
So I guess you are safe as per these rough calculations."

Your money has cleared but banks take a day or two to update their records. PER should be on its way in a day or two

You need to fill this form
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5620E.pdf
and sign it. Send it along with your application to CIC.

Also go to the bank show them this form ask them if anything else is required. Or is this form enough so that the bank wont deny payment to CIC in Canada. :-X
