Yes you have to maintain the balance throughout the process... If VO asks for Updated account statement then you are gone...............

You have to choose one of the dream
Thanks k_b. Its hard to choose. Can I not show them what did I use the money for? Anyway I will be making payment through cheque which would would reflect the builder name in the statement. I will provide all relevent property documentation. Meanwhile can I not have a fixed deposit opened well before CIC takes up my case for evaluation. Yes its risky but, no one can guarentee if I will be within cap or not. Can this reasoning be good enough for them to understand?

@ leillooola, @ krunal and all friends
Good news! I have received my PER on 12 Sep @ 2.11am.
NOC 1123
Application recd: 20 May
For info:
1. I have self-attested duties
2. I sent an additional package on 29 May (received at CIC on 4 Jun) containing left-out reference letter signed by my immediate superior, and acknowledged by CIC to have successfully matched with the initial aplication
3. I did not write my name on the space on consent and declaration on IMM0008 form but I signed it
4. I checked with HSBC on 2 Sept but DD still not cashed yet and about to check again today
5. I used tons of staples
6. I left gaps in history
7. I did not send mailing labels
Good luck to all who are waiting.
Admin pls update my entry in SS. Thanks.

good luck and thanks for sharing.
Bro, could you plase tell me what exactly you wrote on the envelope while sending additional docs ? thanks

its up to VO,
but advisable is maintain minimum required balance during this 6 months,
and like K_B says he is 100% correct, i agree with him....

as per his words its like K_B = Karo ya Bharo

Dear all members,
This is my very 1st post and I will really appreciate if you please provide me some guidance/thoughts on the below queries:
I am 23rd May Applicant (NOC 2173). My credit card was charged yesterday (10th September). Please suggest:
- How long does it takes to get PER email once CC is charged.
- Are these the next steps: PER-->Interview-->Medical-->Passport (what is the duration of these milestones)
- How long does PCC takes from US. Shall I start the process now?
I am sorry if some/all the above queries were already answered earlier in previous pages. If yes then please share the page no# I can follow for these.

PS- I have updated my details into the SS :D and my best wishes to all other members for their positive acknowledgment. :)
Thanks.

read the blog. might help you to clear some of the doubts.
sometimes the forum runs too fasts, your post might get passed.
you can come back ask for more details or information if the blog can't clear your doubts.
PCC : /cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/united-states

Thanks for the info @sansanlaosu.
Still I am unable to get specifics to my queries!!
a) Approx. Time frame for each milestones (PER->Medical/PCC-->Visa) ?
b) Also For PCC from USA , as per the link provided it says: "Processing times are normally between 16 and 18 weeks. The FBI will send you a letter with the results of their record check. That letter will be your police certificate."
So does it really takes too long for PCC or its just the max time? Please shed more light on this. or if any member has done PCC from USA!

Congrats MB, we cannot see your name in SS, could you tell us the details and update em in the SS

Your NOC
Date your application reached CIC
DD/CC?

Net steps would be hearing from your LOCAL VISA OFFICE after few days where you need to submit PCC, MR & RPRF to them, THanks

Hi all, any help on this will be much appreciated. Thanks.

For India you just need one PCC from your current location of residence. Hope this helps. Good Luck! :)
