Thanks Oscar for your swift response.Oscar7 said:@ TANSAM - So that is your PER then. Congrats!!! Look below for AOR - updated it. Oh sorry didn't realize you are from NDVO. Might take between 1 to 2 months for MR, RPRF etc..
I agree. DD is the way to go for almost absolute peace of mind.CanOl said:DD for sure....!!!

Congrats dearawilner said:PER PER PER PER PER
Received my PER today!!!
May 22nd applicant, NOC 2174. SS updated.
I'm using the services of Campbell Cohen as consultants, and made my payment through them. I believed they enclosed a DD with the application, but my PER acknowledges a credit card payment, so I changed this information accordingly. I do not know when the CC was charged, though.
Good luck to all the members, and may we all meet for a beer in Canada!
Now onto another waiting game...

Guys some help needed...
During this time i was blessed with a baby.
I want to include him in the application. The mail asks to inform the visa office of any changes in the application but havn't provided any id.
1.) Should i reply to the PER mail or to NDVO (mail id needed) ?
2.) I changed my address and wife's surname also during this time. Will this affect/delay/cancel the application process ?
3.) or Should I wait for MR request to give above details ?

Just add an affidavit, stating that your wife's maiden name continues after marriage, as the name was not changed, however the bankers have used your surname in her name when creating the bank account. This will be sufficient.mg20140104 said:Hi Seniors!!
I am in a very very stressful situation.
Proof of settlement fund is in a joint account with my wife.I just realised that the bank account has my wife's name with her married surname in the joint account holder's name. All her other documents are in her maiden surname as she does not wish to change her surname post marriage.
So now all docs we are submitting are in her pre marriage surname but just the POF document is in her married surname. Do we require to submit an affidavit? Wht do we write in the affidavit as this is not a change of name, just a case of one document with her married surname that we had to do as the idiot bank manager insited that the acc has to have her married surname. Please help, I wanted to send my docs out this week

THANKS ALL SENIORS.....N ALL THE MEMBERS OF FORUM FOR SHARING THEIR TIMELINE N EXPERIENCE HERE....
will also update spreadsheet in few minutes...
Not a criteria, if not employed now. What they are looking for minimum eligible criteria's as per the CIC site, which is minimum 1 year work experience in the chosen NOC for the past 10 years. Refer CIC website for eligibility and see if u are getting 67 minimum points.Kapoor09 said:hi everyone,
I am new to this forum and this is my first post. Hence may have a lot of queries in the coming days.
My wife is the principal applicant and has 8 yrs of wrk experience which includes 2.5 yrs in HR and 5.5 yrs in Operations. She hasn't been working since May 2013. Hope that isn't a problem applying for FSW 0112 code under HR????
We have managed to get the WES which states that her education is equivalent to Master Degree and also got the reference letter from her previous organizations as per the format mentioned on CIC website.
We are done with all docs except POF, Ielts exam scheduled for 20th Sep and relative docs.
You can but you should be able to submit more details such as 6 consecutive months of bank statements later on. It doesn't matter how long live had the money so long as it is really yours.Sohaib89 said:Folks, I need info about proof of funds.
1. Do I need to send copy or original bank statement to CIC ?
2. I read somewhere that you should have the money in the account for at least 3 months before getting the statement. What if I haven't had it for 3 months ??
3. Can I just submit a letter from bank that states only the current balance in my account ?
You should use whichever is his original birth certificate. You should disclose both passports. It doesn't matter which you fill in on the generic form but you should add an annexure with the other one.kay_diwe2014 said:Good job namaste.
However, I have a question. My baby was born in America and thus has a birth certificate issued in the US and a US passport. And he now has dual citizenship. When submitting his document, am I supposed to use his American birth certificate and American passport? Or I'll use his other passport?
Please help clarify?
No. CIC does not provide any guideline for what the bank certificate should look like, so no need to worry. If anything, the VO will ask for another one later.danielcaspiano said:My bank certificate did not show the date of opening. Will my application get rejected?
