Its like you asking CIC officer to research and take decision for which they neither have time nor the protocol allows them, if someone tells you to pass a trade without following protocol, would you do that?? I am sure no.....

Brother Pankaj, we understand it but if we talk practical, its tough for us to say CIC would think the way you are.

And you have already got answers from so many senior members here on forum, i cannot think against their answer as well.

Stay Blessed

thanks for your well wishes ........I hope they won't go about the same old path and will accept what is written on reference letter and which is self explanatory ............................

I am also from the Philippines :) I used BPI bank draft and the bank manager told me that there is no way for them to track DD encashment. What bank did you use?

Have you added your details in pinoy fsw spreadsheet? I am not sure. My aunt is my payer who is in toronto arranged dd for me.

It doesn't matter what we can see, what matters is how CIC will evaluate the application package you sent. As sent, it is inadequate. If you get PER please come back and tell us all we were wrong, we will be happy for you and it will be very valuable information for the forum.

Hi, LOL I will change my real name to Oscar7 or Chinmay Patel or even Chaman Patel, if brother Palak is open to the referral. :P

BTW, I once lived in Gujarat briefly - very much enjoyed the stay. And you work as a BA, is that right dear? :)

PS - I almost have the name changing affidavit ready LOL

No, I am a business analyst. Yeah definately any one can find my profile with my provided real name. :)
Oh you changed the post to BA, yes thats correct.

Thank you for the good wishes trk1! I assume your application is already with CIC. In any case, all the best to you too!

And could someone throw some light on my question? Re-pasting it here:

Yes you can change the address.. Just login to the site and change address in your details.. Easy peasy.. I even confirmed that they would now mail it to updated address..

In about a 100 days from the date of receipt of your application, if you check the spreadsheet it will be more clear to you

Slightly longer than that. We're looking at about 110 days.

I'm a June 4th applicant and it doesn't look like any 27th May applicants have been charged yet.

Hi,
I'm a Aug 22nd applicant for noc 1212. Noticed few days back that form IMM 0008 schedule 3
Got updated in August apart from other 2 that I was able to update. I'm sure schedule 3 form got updated post Aug 22nd... Need help with the date when schedule 3 was updated, if pre Aug 22nd.. What I'm I support to do?

Thanks in advance

Yup, me too sailing in the same boat and mine is a bigger sin. I downloaded all forms in June and used them to fill and by the time, i sent my docs it was 4/Aug and the Generic application form (THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE) was changed in JUNE :(

So i did comparisons of all documents changed since, and i feel the most concerning change was only in the Generic application form as it added a new field for us to answer. I think you guys should be good. Plus based on the status of my application, you will have your update, as mine probably will be processed before your apps, considering of course by then, NOC2173 is not filled up.

Many forum'ites have assured me, that it should be ok and Century has also reassured, so i holding on to my belief, that i will sail through. Anyways will keep posted.

Good Luck. Quoting my earlier post for your benefit.

Reposting.... Anybody??

Hi All,

I seem to have made the same mistake made by this person in the below quote from another forum thread...
I had downloaded all the forms from the web somewhere around June 1st or 2nd week and used those forms when i sent my document package in the first week of August..... I verified now that there are mainly 4 forms concerning me that have changed since...

1. Document CheckList IMM5612 (August 2014)
2. Generic Application Form IMM0008 (changed on 15th or 18th June i think)
3. Schedule 3 Economic Classes IMM0008 Schedule 3 (August 2014)
4. Fee Payment Form (August 2014)

My main cause of concern is the "Generic Application Form". I compared all other documents and the changes are minor enough not to affect my document.

However in the "Generic Application Form" I could spot three main differences as stated below:
1. Under heading "LANGUAGE DETAIL", Question No. 3 is added for both principal applicant and Spouse, which was not present in the older form. (I think this may be a deal breaker for me, as it may be considered as an incomplete information in the main form ? :'( )
- Have you taken a test from a designated testing agency to access your proficiency in English or French ?
2. Under "Consent and Declaration of Applicant" and new consent question is added. (This i think should not impact my application... ???)
- Do you consent to be contacted by CIC, or an organization at CIC's request, in the future ?
3. The barcode's that are generated after the document is validated seems to have a timestamp which is different from the timstamp in my barcode page i submitted. (If they use a different barcode reader for the new app, then it may be considered as an invalid app right??? sigh!! :-\ )
- New format IMM0008_07-2014_x whereas the old format generated as IMM0008_03-2014_x

What do you guys think of the above...? I saw FSW 2013 and one of the common reasons for return of application there was "Applicant used outdated Schedule 3 form" :o ??? :-[

Any UAE applicants??? Please help/advise.

Regards,

Hi, according to the Document Checklist, see this,

For the principal applicant:
• Letters of reference from all your employers for the past 10 years.
Letters must be:
• written on company letterhead,
• signed by the responsible officer/supervisor,
• show the company's full address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail and website addresses,
• stamped with the company's official seal (if applicable).
Letters must include all of the following information:
• the specific period of your employment with the company,
• the positions you have held during the period of employment and the time you spent in each position,
• your main responsibilities and duties in each position,
• your total annual salary plus benefits in each position, and
• the number of hours worked per week in each position.

So if they did not indicate full time on your letter, ensure the hours worked weekly is indicated and it must be at least 30 hours per week. That is CIC definition of full time work according to the Instructions Guide. All the best :)
