Hi Seniors,

My application was delivered to CIC on 4th Sept 2014, I got the DD made from bank on 13th Aug. As CIC is taking about 3-4 months in encashing the DD, i want to know does any problem like DD expired arises because generally a DD is valid for 3 months(correct me if I am wrong).
Please shed some light on this.

Kind Regards,
Reet

Hi Kollins,

Is this officially confirmed? I do not prepare the letter for current job because I just came onboard for 2 months and I do not need this to claim points.

Thank You

Since you are not claiming point on it,you don't need letter of experience.
Letter of experience is most needed for a job description in which you intend to claim points.
Cheers.

Congratulations to everyone who got their application fees charged :)
It's now obvious that CIC has actually increased their fee charging speed (average # of applications charged per day) - and it looks like they've been working with this speed for about a month already. I've updated the Charge Date Estimates tab to reflect the new speed.

Thanks for the update bro ... !! You recall our last conversation....? The SS moved from predicting my 18th July application to be forst CC charged in mid January, then mid december and now early November and I have always maintained that I expect to get charged around mid october ....... But at the same time I think That early november is a good estimate but in the next 2-3 weeks of CIC processing, we should be able to have a pretty good prediction from the SS And number of apps filed/day will become constant and CIC's constant speed will become all the more apparent..... Anyway, thanks for maintaining the SS and updating the same on a regular basis ... Its an awesome resource for everyone who has ever accessed it ... !! Cheers .. !!

I've just checked your recent posts to read your prediction. Pretty cool. Was it just a guess, or did you calculate it somehow? If it's a calculation, I'd be interested to see your method :)

I know the questions aint aimed at me but I'd like to share my 2cents..

MY calcultion method is a function of 3 things:
1. SS represntation of the whole set of applications with CIC ... Can range from 23-30%.. different scenarios
2. Number of SS apps received/day by CIC .... that can be used to derive no. of total apps received/day at CIC
3. number of applications processed/day by CIC .. which is close to about 100....

HEY GROOBY,
in a bad mood today or what ?
where is ur smile ? ::)

Hello all...i am a june 6th applicant....hopefully my dd will be encashed by next 2 months...but i might have to go to usa in official work for 6 months in nov...shall i accept the offer...can i ask ndvo later on when medical request comes say after 4 mths when i am in usa..can i send mr from usa itself ? But again after 1-2 mthsbi might have to send passport as well...can i send passport from usa itself ? Please suggest

Hi bro... You should expect to get your DD encashed by the end of september with the current CIC speed... You're application received date is just 9 "received dates" away from being processed.
Worst case scenario, you would expect your DD to be encashed in 18 working days and PEr in about 25 working days ..... But taking the current speed of CIC and lesser number of applications/day at CIC, I think you should receive PER by 1st week of October .... which could mean PCC/MR request by november end/mid December .... so you gotta play your cards right .....

I've laid down whats gonnna happen man .... your call ....!! best of luck making this tough decision... !!
