Admins please update The SS!

Brother Congrats,
Pls do not overload the Admins. they are already working overtime for the group.
Pls update the ss yourself.

Thanks harka007, Saps and CanOl.. Surely tats a relief for me... also I have one last leg to go and seems like it will take a month. I have two questions here sorry for asking so many questions but I know we have lot and many more lovely peoples from all around the world who'd just pinch in to provide any help or support.. :) :) :)

1) Marriage Certificate - I have our Muslim Marriage certificate and don't have the Registered Marriage certificate which is issues in Marriage Registrar Government office. But, when I asked them they said it will take exactly a month and I am eying for 2171 NOC.
Should I got with the affidavit and a self attested letter that I don't have at the moment and apply and attached the Payment slip and tell them that I will provide it when I get it. What do all the Ladies and Gentlemen suggest ??

2) Roles and Responsibilities - Our HR had refused me providing me the Roles and Responsibilities in the company letter head, even after request them more than 3 to 4 times they didn't provided me and told its the policy that they cannot break. So, I got my Roles and Responsibilities in a Stamp Paper and duly signed by my Senior colleague who is a Technical Consultant and has been working with me since last 8 years.
The situation is, I am with the same company for last 8.5 years and have my offer letter, Promotion letter and incremental letters which mentions the Job description. So, I got the HR Director write me in a mail that she cannot provide me the Roles and responsibility and would keep it with the attested letter by colleague.
Has there been any case rejected because of the Roles and responsibilities provided by a senior technical person in place of the HR? In-spite of keeping all the supporting documents...

Regards,
Shahid

Dude,

I found a difference between regular mail and postal mail: :)

1. Regular mail means the mail sent through Postal Services.

2. Courier mail system is managed by private parties.

2.1 A courier delivers messages, packages, and mail. Couriers are distinguished from ordinary mail services by features such as speed, security, tracking, signature, specialization and individualization of express services, and swift delivery times, which are optional for most everyday mail services. As a premium service, couriers are usually more expensive than usual mail services, and their use is typically restricted to packages where one or more of these features are considered important enough to warrant the cost.

Well, it's OK if the package is shipped via courier and recipient to PO Box (regular mail) address. The only thing is, there is nobody to receive the shipment and sign the acknowledgement, it's just dropped in their PO Box, which will collected after 2-3 days.

So, nothing to worry about it. I would rather say, it's a unintentional act. ::)

Cheers!

Dear friend

As I said "nothing personal"

Let's put numbers for everyone's better understanding:

SS represents about 30% of total set of applications with CIC
Average of last few CIC updates or applications processed/week: 470-550 for 5 day weeks and last 403 for 4day week. i.e 101/day

Applications/day 01 May - 22 May: 64.3 (SS) 215(CIC)
Applications/day 23 May - 16 Jun: 27.4 (SS) 91(CIC)
Applications/day 16 Jun - 31 Jul: 16.7 (SS) 54(CIC)

This relates to the following:
1. In 2 weeks when CIC is done with most applications pending on or before 22nd May, CIC should move with 1 CC charge date/1PER date every day ... as 91 incoming applications is pretty close to 100 applications processed/day.
2. After 16th June applications are done and CIC is expected to work at the same pace or even faster. 54 incoming applications and 101 daily processing. CIC should do about 2 CC charge dates/2PER dates every day......

Feel free to award a +1 if this makes sense to you ....

Just one addition: Weatherwise, Vancouver is gloomy and rainy most of the time although it is warmer than rest of Canada. I personally prefer cold and sunny to warm and gloomy.

Same here. Cold is better.

Greetings,

I am going to file FSW application this week. Along with my PCC. Although I have just initiated the process of getting PCC from USA as I have stayed more than 6 months in USA as a trainee.

Kindly Suggest me if I can proceed applying. I am not sure the received application status in CIC website is not actual/up to date.

Thanks !

Agree, and i can add one more thing, after the hot NOC's start to reach the CAP, the number of ignored applications will be more, and they gonna focus on the applications of the other NOC's

I wouldn't wait for PCC. Apply without it ASAP to get in the queue.
