1. Is it true that one should send 2 self-addressed envelopes to CIC? should they have stamp or not?? : :

2. On the envelop shall I write NOC category: Civil engeineer?

3. Do you send the application to Sydney or Toronto?

Hello all..has cic seen appli applications till may 30 as hunks mentiins that his application reached on 30 may n returned because of absence of degree copies. Does it mean that a small group is checking for completeness check and all completed applications are being forwarded for cc/dd charge..and same group also sends per... the completeness check group is a bit faster..hunks sorry for u but since ur sending again best of luck...u will make it as u dont have much competition

due to a visa link data corruption my CC was unable to be charge by CIC today ........well, that was the explanation from the bank

Really!? Sorry to hear that.

Which bank and how you found that out? Did they call and tell you?

Don't worry too much though. CIC will try at least 2 more times before giving up based on others' past experiences. At least there is one thing that them trying to charge your CC proves. Your application had all the required documents and was considered complete.

Just ensure the bank/visa "saat out dem self an u CC" before the next try.

I was hovering through the 2013 global thread and noticed that most people are getting per in 2 months +.. and per follows shortly around a week or two maybe..

compared to this year wher may applicants get per on september...

Just an observation...

Yep, early on, the thought was those in May would have got PER within 2, maybe max 3 months. But, alas it was not to be as there were so much more applications being accepted this year as opposed to last year (i.e. 25,000 vs 5,000) and most of those seemingly came in the May 7-12 period. It therefore took CIC what seemed like an eternity to get over that initial hump. The good thing is, thankfully they are now over it and have finally started to really move.

Please tell me that how Canadian embassy verify work experience documents like work experience letter from employers in India.

1) Do they perform any physical check or they only verify by email and by phone call?

2) Do they make phone calls to the numbers which are mentioned on the letter(Supervisors) or the number in the company letterhead?

Please help me with this.

Good to see a yaad man on the forums ;D, What bank are you using? I hear some seniors say 2-3 days for retry and some say after a week. Hope you get charged soon. I'm June 6th and waiting patiently.

Actually, they can do any, all or none of these (and have been known to) depending on if they see the need to based on the documents you have provided and whatever the security and other checks turn up. E.g. your employer might be so well known and the work experience letter so obviously genuine that none of these is required. On the other hand, this could also be the case, and they still verify for quality assurance purposes. No one but the visa officer really knows what they will do to verify work experience.

that maybe cause the translation was not by the governement and was done outside so you have to send the original translation plus the copy of the one in original language, but i think in his case the english document is original from the governement so a copy of it is enough

Hi man Ur situation is clearly right u sent copy of governmental certificate in English that's it
Cic don't care if you have another official one in Arabic or Italian
The point you got English birthdate certificate from MOH

yes I !! ;D...,..... i realy hope they retry again very soon.......the bank was Rbtt now Sagicor........they realy didnt have any control over the situation, this data corruption affects all visa users at the time.

u can but I wont suggest u to do so.

second thing.......please use dd as payment method, if u have been following the forum u can know how much people are facing problems due to cc issues..........dd is a lot safer, guarantees 200% payment and acceptance.
