london visa office will send file transfer and processing started kind of emails or this will be updated on ECAS only???

my Passport is going to expire in 9 months,should i renew it now?? i just received my PER yet.... what should i do??

buddy get it renewed or make new one, as if 6 months expiry is left then they can deny u pr visa cos western countries require atleast more than 6 months of validity to get visa stamped. but that's not a big issue, u can make it even after getting mr call, on urgent basis u can get it in 10 working days. good luck

I also renewd my PP before sending application, it was having 8 months left but i renewed it and sent copies of both old and new passport
I got my PP in 3 days under "TATKAL" but it cost @Rs. 3500/-

Thanks for the thread its really helpful ;D, I am aware people might have asked this question several times about the CELPIP general and IELTS testing system. Was going through the CIC website and found about the testing system I did IELTS general and got the overall bands 7.5

listening - 8
Reading-7.5
Speaking -7.0
Writing-6.5

I made my application for FSW 2014 on 18 July, however I am confusedis it must to appear for CELPIP or IELTS would do.

Technically you can use anyone's credit card. But don't you think it's risky using your boss's credit card since you won't be in control of it? What if he overspends and there's not enough to pay your fees? Or what if he loses the card? Or what if he changes his mind later on? There are so many ifs.

You would be better off using DD for payment.

I'm in pain here! My app was received by CIC on may 23, and they started to charge app received on may 25. My was not charged yet. Does anyone knows what are their criteria to start these charges?

They have only recently started charging 23 May applicants and will continue to do so for a few more days, at the very least. So there is no need to worry.

A quick update on my application. My application was received on May 20th and today at noon Dubai time i received the golden PER email. As soon as i received the email, i sent a "case inquiry" using the LVO webpage to notify the office of my passport renewal which happened after i sent the application and i sent a copy of it as well.

Looking forward to hear back from them on the next steps.


Good luck to the rest who havent received the PER yet.

brother its still cheaper and faster then what u get here in pak. here urgent pp fees is 6000 and u get it in 8 working days.

Hello friends ! Need your suggestion. My application reached on 7th May 2014 and got PER on 25th July 2014. We are currently out of India and will not return before Oct end. As per the information in the FSW sheet applicants of 7th May with New Delhi VO are getting the Medical and passport requests.

So, we can expect Medical and passport request anytime. What is the time period to provide passport & get Medical done ?

u can but I wont suggest u to do so.

second thing.......please use dd as payment method, if u have been following the forum u can know how much people are facing problems due to cc issues..........dd is a lot safer, guarantees 200% payment and acceptance.
