2171 is about Analyst profile. Analysis on any kind of IT system. While 2173/2174 is development related. for 2171 noc there is no programming involved neither expected.

Hi Varuen,

I agree with you partially on the Analyst bit, but may have to disagree on any IT system bit. If it is any IT system, they could have mentioned IT business analyst and not Information Systems Analyst. There is a difference. This is from an Industry perspective and not only from a Canada PR.

Please let me know your views.

No worries..you are safe. Email to the Bank Customer Support. The managers at the branch are just sales guys, and cannot do anything, other than reporting. Safe to address your mail to the customer support, and ask them to extend by 3 months. They may charge some nominal fee for this facility.

I am still confident, you are safe.
:-)

Thanks For the reply, i'll mail the customer care...

The basic difference between is 2173/4 and 2171 is about the type of system you work on. 2171 is essentially an information system based role, e.g: SAP. Hence, I am of the opinion that both the experiences could be related or can be viewed in isolation. They may not be related at all. Honestly speaking, there is no way they are going to know except for what you have mentioned in the job description in the reference letter. Just ensure that the job description matches with the noc code description they have mentioned. Relation between these two works may not be required and I also dont see a place where you can establish this.

For experience you are claim for 2171........ just mentioned the JD related to this (you can make this as your primary occupation)
For experience relating to 2173/4....... mention JD relating to this (this will give you additional points).

Also remember that one can always change roles........... move from a technical role to functional role........

All the best.

Thank you so much Optimist3 ! This clarifies my doubt completely, and as you mentioned, I'll go ahead and show experiences for related NOCs.

Thanks again! And all the best to you too!

Any CC charges today?

How did you come to know it is three months validity...is it printed ? One can request for a 3 month valid DD, or a dated valid DD. If not the case, irrespective of what the bank says, International Currency DDs are 6 months valid.
Regarding CC, if you have authorized them for an amount, upto that alone they will charge.

NO Worries..you are safe!

I did not request for any specific thing while issuing the DD, will have some detailed inquiry and post it here....thanks for the help...
