I have been, updating such data since week by now,
Observed that, still ppl from 12-15 are receiving their PER & cc/dd getting charged...

Week 3 guys, be positive CIC might be slow but Good news will be coming Next Week for sure...

Just to ask the more experienced members here for an opinion about my case.

In the ECAS service my application is "In process" and it tells that they have received my application on 12 may 2014 which is OK. But the problem is that I didn't get any PER yet. As I can see people which applications were received on 20th of May get PER but I didn't get it.

So my question is : Is there is some problem with the application or the agents at CIC needs more time to check or double check the documentation in my application?

Any advices from anyone.

Very likely you will receive your PER soon as your eCAS is activated.
SS shows that one May 12 applicant (our friend "dixiechic") got encashed by July 23 & obtained PER on Sept 03.

Please, update SS with ur date of DD encashment!

Well I've payed my Fee by certified bank cheque and as I spoke to them earlier, in the bank, they said to me that they can't see when the cheque is activated or as I think they very busy and they didn't want to check that information, so for now I don't know when the fee is encashed.

And also if you can tell me, how can I know if my eCAS is activated? Can I check that online?

The fact that you can access ECAS service which shows "INPROCESS" status means that your eCAS is activated.
Generally, as far as I know, eCAS is accessible for applicants after/during encashment!

I think that the first time I was able to see the status of my application online was around 26-27th august so i think that then they encashed my cheque (let's hope so ) and soon as get my PER I will update my status in the SS.

Hope all the remaining 30 apps of May 3rd week (Thanks palakpatel911 ) whose fees got encashed will got PER the coming week!

I have checked and confirmed on various forums...including 2013 spreadsheet........London VO issues MR in the 10th month after app has been receved at cio and client gets per..........means those who applied in may 2013 recvd mr by april 2014 on avg!!!! omg such a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong wait? I m really jealous of ndvo now! but still wish and hope atleast they do some miracle this year.......from 10 months down to atleast 7 months will be more then a welcome! common London vo get some pace!

Well i have also come across timelines of some 2013 Pakistani applicants on various forums and it took them 7 to 8 months from the date of Application filing at CIC to have MR from LVO. So i am expecting MR insha ALLAH in the beginning of Jan 2015. Fingers crossed.

How did you get your UCI number?? And also am a May 12th Applicant with no response from CIC on my application till date :'( But if your ECAS is activated you should hear from CIC soon.. All the best!!

I have just couriered over my documents. However for form IMM008, I selected my Immigration office as Abu Dhabi.. Is it correct ? or should I have chosen London or something. will CIC correct it for me ??

Guys,

If any one in the same situation, please provide your input. We have received our CPR and VISA last month. For my child, we only received a CPR document, and not the VISA. My child who is only 19 months old, is a USA citizen (holds a USA passport), is that why Canadian visa is not stamped in his passport?

Hi. Everything is fine. Because a visa is not required for entry into Canada for a US citizen, there was no need to stamp a visa in your child's US passport. The US Passport and the CoPR alone will be sufficient for him.
