My noc is 2281 and my application was received on 7 th august 2014.Is there any chances for my application to be considered under Cap .
if yes when can I expect DD encashing date .?

CIC states that we should indicate the name of the Immigration Office which serves:
-your country of nationality, or
-the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one (1) year.

Then, If you are residing in Oman for more than one year, you may insert Immigration Office of Pakistan or Oman. (Islamabad or Mascate). If not, you may only name Islamabad Visa Office.

Dear All,

I am filing for FSW this year under NOC0013. I am a director of Pvt. Ltd. Co and I am working in the capacity of President - Computer Services since 4 + . Prior to this I worked for 5 years in various I.T Companies on Managerial and Sr. Managerial roles.

I am a little confused here to undergo which position . As I am a director of company and working as President. I talked to a consultant and first he said go as a President , So I made all the documents according to that which includes my Offer letter , job responsibility letter. Now 1 fine day the Consultant asks to file papers under Director category which again comes under NOC0013 However it requires company ITRs which are yet to b filed for last year.

I am in a dilemma please SENIORS HELP ME on which one to launch the application with.

I have just noticed that London VO serves both ur country of nationality and residence.

Then, just let it "London" as you have already done it!!

I sent my application on May, received by CIO on May 14th.
My passport expires November 2014 but I took the risk of sending my passport details and thought of having it renewed after getting a PER.

With that positive thinking in mind, I was able to receive the PER on Aug. 28 and now scheduled to renew my passport and police clearance which are about to expire at the end of the year. Based on the experiences shared on this forum, all I need to do is to inform my local VO as the process moves on.

But I am worried that my application will be checked only by the end of the year, if I am lucky (that's the forecast for an app received by CIO on August 6th. As my passport expires in March, that will be no time and I am affraid my app will be returned due to that.

Nobody else answered my post but I am sure that someone from this forum had any situatuon in which they need to send new documents to CIO after had submit the application and I really would like to know how this process is. I believe I need to send a copy of this new passport to CIO and have it attached to my application. As I mentioned, I dont have an UCI code and I am not sure how should I do to make sure they will add this new copy of my new passport to my application.

Could somebody help me with this ?

I have checked and confirmed on various forums...including 2013 spreadsheet........London VO issues MR in the 10th month after app has been receved at cio and client gets per..........means those who applied in may 2013 recvd mr by april 2014 on avg!!!! omg such a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong wait? I m really jealous of ndvo now! but still wish and hope atleast they do some miracle this year.......from 10 months down to atleast 7 months will be more then a welcome! common London vo get some pace!

ur mentioned link is not from CIC...and as of now gazette has not been changed....So its valid up to APR 15

IMM0008 Questions:

1) Number of years of education (pg3) : Do I count from Class 1 onwards?
2) Add Dependents section: I am single and have no dependents. So I should simply delete this section CORRECT? I DO NOT HAVE TO FILL ADDITIONAL DEPENDENT DECLARATION FORM CORRECT?

applications is allocated as follows:

for processing under an occupation list stream. Within the

eligible occupation set out below will be considered for processing;

2. A maximum of 500 applications will be considered for processing
under a PhD student/graduate stream.
For further clarity, there is no limit on the number of new applications

As per National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2011, Senior managers in NOC0013perform some or all of the following duties:
•Determine the company's mission and strategic direction as conveyed through policies and concrete objectives which are met through the effective management of human, financial and material resources
•Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
•Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs; establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
•Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
•Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
If most of those duties are listed in your reference letter then suit the stated duties then indeed you should apply Under NOC0013.
With regard to Job title Under NOC0013, "president, computing service company" is stated as an example.

Just to ask the more experienced members here for an opinion about my case.

In the ECAS service my application is "In process" and it tells that they have received my application on 12 may 2014 which is OK. But the problem is that I didn't get any PER yet. As I can see people which applications were received on 20th of May get PER but I didn't get it.

So my question is : Is there is some problem with the application or the agents at CIC needs more time to check or double check the documentation in my application?

Any advices from anyone.

I am June 2nd applicant, currently in Canada on work permit. I am planning to get married in January 2015. Assuming that my file would be approved, what is the last stage when I can add spouse as a dependent. Really tricky situation, don't want to wait for my spouse's PR for another couple of years. Please suggest.

Yes, You'll be Under Cap:
Currently, 113 NOC2281 applications have received PER as per CIC. From SS, we know that Encashment and PER have reached ~May 20 applicants.
Then we can deduce that CIC processed 113 NOC2281 within in 2O days (from 01 to May20).
If this trend goes this way, it will take about 170 days to CIC to process the entire 1000 apps Under this NOC.


Expect your DD be encashed ~ last Oct/ 1st half Nov at worst scenario
