Are you sure ? I guess degree too needs to be attested by univ.

no CanOl, for ECA report, they need original transcripts from univ (either directly sent by univ, or in a sealed envelope as provided by the univ to u). The degree certificate/mark sheets need not be attested by the univ.

Hello everyone,

It is the first time I apply fom immigration to Canada and I am planning to sumbit my application maybe at the end of October...depends how fast WES will evaluate my study degree. I am planning to apply under NOC 2173 and I see that until last Monday 218 applications have been accepted. From your experience, do you think October-November is too late to apply?

But I never sent them any attested transcripts. I only sent them attested marksheets and attested degree cert in sealed envelope.

I got a positive review by them.

You can try. 2173 is less hot than 2174, so you can take a chance.

For FWS 2014 applicants, APPLICATIONS SHOULD REACH CIC CANADA BY 31ST DEC 2014 CORRECT?

IF APPLICATION IS RECEIVED BY THEM BEFORE YEAR END, THEN EVEN IF CC IS CHARGED IN 2015 IF CAP IS NOT FULL, ONE CAN QUALIFY RIGHT???

the new express FSW programme will be announced in jan '15 and acceptance of applications under FSW 2014 will stop then.

Hi Canol,,,Do you reference showing that CIC stops accepting applications from Jan 1st, after introducing Express system? or is it a speculation?
My understanding is that FSW 2014 is open until April 30th, 2015 or Cap reached. It is my assumption that CIC would carry both FSW2014 and Express system simultaneously, if they introduce in Jan...or they might say EOI is effective from Jan 1st however, process won't start until May 1st. There are no distinct rules or procedures published on EOI system until now.
Please post reference material or CIC links addressing such questions...

Its not mandatory that u will need to show 6 months statement....

Its depends on the case officer....If he has any doubt he may ask for this duration's statement.....

I hd to widraw about 60% of money from my saving account just after 15 days of application submisstion....and still i have not been to maintain the account balance as shown to CIC at inception...

Let me clarify. This is only based on a news article and currently is speculation. No confirmed news. So fsw2014 might very well continue till April 2015.

CanOl, I believe the clear instruction till now is that FSW2014 will end on Apr 30th 2015 (unless there is an updated ministerial instruction) as shared in the Canada Gazette of April 26th 2104 when this program was announced open for the year. Please read page 5 of the pdf file.

What you have quoted is talking about transitioning to EE - and post successfully transitioning after this is implemented, which basically refers to after FSW2014 ends in April 2015 I believe.

It somehow is not letting me post the link to the gazette but you can google it with "Canada Gazette for 26 April 2014" and open the PDF version and check top of page 5 there.

when u say attested marksheets and attested degree certs in sealed envelope, then i think you mean this was how the univ gave you the set. right? if yes, they your understanding is right..

The degree certificate/mark sheets if additionally sent by applicant apart from what is there in the sealed envelope, then it is optional for ECA review.
