Dear All,

I am new to this forum. I am glad I joined in here. I have just courier my immigration documents yesterday (sep5th 2014) to Canada. But, I have done a greatest mistake of marking the mailing address as the delivery address instead of courier address. What would happen now? Please throw me some light on this.

Regards,
Babu V

I can understand your worry as I did the same mistake, I sent courier the documents on mailing address instead of courier address. But, eventually my documents reached to CIC. so in short no worries.

Just for double check, I dropped the same question here on this forum and experts told me that there is no issue.

Hopefully everything will go right, don't worry.

Hi, Please say yes for that - and that's okay - they won't hold that against you, plus have to be truthful. :)
Thanks , what about my wife,s Sh A form should she also mention yes in her form.

No, since you were the principal applicant at that time.

Less than 6 months means less than 6 months. So you don't need it-this is what I believe.

I forwarded my application package on 05/09/2014 but yet to be received by CIC. Will enter the details once I get confirmation from courier.

Meanwhile, I have a question. I lived in Dubai from 05/2012 to 06/2012 for around 45 days in Visit Visa, then exited and again entered on training visa and lived for 5 months 29 days (Strickly less than 6 months) from 06/2012 to 12/2012. My visa office is London, do you think I will have to submit PCC from Dubai ?

Getting a PCC from dubai will take almost 2 months and there is fingerprint submission requirement as well.

Anyone who have experience with PCC from Dubai, please share your experience.

most people's thinking on this is that you might not be required a pcc from dubai in this case as you did not stay for 6 months continuously, but some suggest to get it in the interest of lack of clarity whether 6 months continuous or 6 months overall is the ask. i think you can wait until specifically told by vo to get it from dubai, as it might not be required.

ive got my pcc in dubai and it took only 4 days to process, you should go to port rashid station rather than dxb police hq as hq is always busy compare to port rashid.

btw there is no more finger print submission, in my case i just show them my visa on my passport and give them two passport size picture.

True, but I don't think he is still residing in Dubai. And in your case you must be having the Emirates Id with you.

But not the same with him.

It will be still in fifo basis. CIO reported cap on 20th Dec for NOC X, someone's file received on 21st Dec for NOC X. Still it will be open on normal FIFO basis and then will be returned.

Thanks for the Info mate ... Appreciate it !!! :)

hey asif... instead of 25-30 mm the printed photos contain 31-36mm head size, 5 mm higher head size. due to this no part of the shoulder can be seen.

Guys,

Really repenting for having used a consultant. I am still not sure where my application docs have reached. Docs were sent on 27th Aug 2014 by Aramex. The courier tracking shows final destination and also, docs recd at Halifax. On checking with the consultant, they said that Halifax is the CIC central unit from where application will go to Sydney. On checking the zip code, found that the ZIP code belongs to Dalhousie university. Now the consultant says that this tracking no. was not for my docs and was given to me inadvertently. They have promised to give the new correct tracking no. by tomorrow and assured that docs are 100% sent at the correct address.

Really worried. I am sure I would have done a better job had I filed the application on my own. Will update on this once I get the details.

Please guys, as far as possible, do not use a representative / consultant. You can do a better job than them by taking help at this forum.

I am also facing exactly the same situation, and 100% sure that consultant is CANAM. This people really sucks, since last 15 days I am asking for the tracking number and still haven't got it..even they send me the same halifax tracking number number.... really don't understand what to do..

Dear Seniors,

Out of academic interest I wanted to ask this question. Although we carry the specified amount of money to Canada, from which point in time will the Canada govt. pay employment benefits? Is there any specific timelines? Should we prove to them that we brought the money they specified and used up all of it to ask for their help?

Thank you in advance.
