I got PER mail from CIC on 21-Aug-2014.


Can you please guide me on below query.
Currently I am on assignment in Jakarta Indonesia and will be in jakarta till june-2015.
My Visa office : New Delhi,India & my spouse & kid are in India
Once we get the request for MR , by what time we should be submitting the medical reports , I belive 60 days
Also at the latter stage when the pass port is requested by NDVO , by what time we should be submitting the Passport, I belive 30 days .

Since my spouse and kid are in Hyd,India , can they do the MR from India and Can I do MR at Jakarta.
You can do Medical any where in world. It doesnt matter.

Also, for the second part on Passport request , Is ther any means that I can send my Passport back to India for PR stamping or is ther any way out that I can do from Jakarta & my Spouse and kid can do the stamping from India..
Once we submit the Pass port to NDVO , How much time they usually take for PR stamping..


NO. YOU CAN NOT MAIL PASSPORT TO DIFFERENT COUNTRY IF YOU HOLD INDIAN PASSPORT. IT IS CONSIDERED ILLEGAL ACCORDING TO INDIAN LAW.

Let tell you a case I came across. There was a guy who applied under FSW program later came to Canada as student/worker (didnt remember exactly) while his application was being processed. His VO was Delhi. He before few months go PPR from Delhi VO. He was not aware of above law and did stupid thing. He sent his passport to India with his friend, and then his friend mailed it to NDVO for stamping. Now after receiving Passport NDVO sent him and interview email(weird to receive interview at this stage). But now he is stuck. His workpermit is expiring in October or November. His passport is in NDVO, he said he sent several email but got no reply. I havent been following what happened next.

But what I was trying to say in DO NOT EMAIL PASSPORT IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Please advice and guide me on this.

An explanation letter should be suffice. just mention that you born in Division at Village. As a place of birth, the passport contains only name of Division and BC contains only name of village.

Can any one share with me the format for affidavit for discrepancy in place of birth in passport and birth certificate? My passport states gives the name of the division whereas my birthcertificate gives name of the village as the place of birth. :'(

Why would some sent Academic IELTS when it is specifically mentioned in FSW Document checklist that IELTS General is required, Academic IELTS wont be accepted.

Anyone with academic IELTS will be returned since CIC explicitly says it's not accepted.

Thanks brother for a very helpful insight. Actually my orig applic is still in transit and might arrive on the 12th of Sept. Just after that will I send my addendum. Yeah. Strength in numbers.

But if someone is sending new application, he can add an explanation-but not mandatory.

Will CIC need a clarification if the BC says place of birth as Bombay and the passport says Mumbai ?

Shoot e-mail at cio-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca for know the status. Give your Full name, DoB, Passport number, and UCI (if you have).

Also check whether you gave any e-mail in the generic application for communication.
