22 may applicant still not charged...23rd may has started :(

I see in SS, an applicant "friendali" whose app was received on 23/May belonging to London VO , has got his CC charged :D

But PER issue has still not moved ahead on 16/May :(

also supplement them with all your offer letters, form -16's, and latest sal slips (3)

Can you please confirm if following docs would be enough at the time of application. If not anythign else has to be added?

1) Education supporting docs
2) ECA envelope from WES
3) IELTS Score
4) Filled application
5) Proof of funds
6) Experience letters from employers

Will local visa office (New Delhi) specifically mention in the PCC email who all on the application require PCC and from which all countries? How does the email request look like if someone can shed some light.

I had done the silly mistake on my application of rounding one of my trip to 6 months, and realized later that I invited PCC request for doing that. I was in that country for 5 months and 23 days. For simplicity and lack of space on the form, I rounded it to 6 months.

Should I take it that PCC is inevitable and in light of that initiate the process to avail it, or wait for the visa office to tell me explicitly which all countries I must submit PCC for..?

Congratulations Vinisha! You can get the PCC from India in 4 weeks if someone follows up closely (since you are not in India, ask someone for help). Suggest submit the PCC request right away. You would need to fill one form and deposit some fee. Good Luck!
Hi

With reference to your above message, can you explain further, which one form to fill up to obtain PCC from India?

Rgds,
Satyakam

Many congratulations Ashif for 5000 post and 500 ratings
.
felicitation.

you are a CC or DD person?

The difference as I mentioned in another post is their fraud detection / prevention systems. Even if a transaction is within the limit, they stop it in case the transaction takes place in another country.

For example, if I swipe the card for lunch in Mumbai today, and after 1 hour it shows a charge from Canada, then sometimes the bank restricts the transaction thinking it is some fraudster who has my card number with him.

Maybe the Canadian embassy is in their "good" books and they don't stop that charge.

In my online banking, the status of transaction is "reserved" meaning that it has not been completed yet and it will be completed later. I don't know if I should inform bank that please don't do any restriction stuff. Any idea?

Dear Forumites,

Greetings of day...

Can anyone let know if any 16th May applicant received PER today?

Thanks...

Hey guys,

Hope everyone is doing well!
I am currently in the process of filling out the applications and had a several questions. I would appreciate if you guys could provide with detailed answers.

1. On the application it asks for the visa office. My visa office is Moscow, but when I follow the link for Moscow visa office, it says "for permanent resident applications see Warsaw office". Warsaw visa office site says that it is responsible for the permanent resident applications from my country. So which one should I select: moscow or warsaw?

2. I have a savings account, which is nominated in USD, but the proof of funds requirement states amounts in CAD. So should I show the amount in my bank certificate letter in USD or in CAD?

3. Also, in proof of funds section of the application, it asks for assets and liabilities in addition to settlement funds. What should I include there? I do not have any liability. And my assets are just my savings.

4. In the checklist, it says "provide proof of your completed foreign education credential and an original ECA report from a designated organization". I know that ECA report comes from WES, but what about the proof of my completed foreign education credential? Can I provide with the copy of my diplomas?

5. In one of my employment reference letter, should they include the end date of my employment, even if it is my current job? How should I put the end date for my current employment ref letter, in other words?

6. Also, I had 3 month full-time internship that I wanted to count towards the NOC that I am applying under. But in "years of experience" section of Schedule 3, the year starts with 1 year and above. After the three month internship, I left the firm and started full time at another place in a different NOC role. So how do I include this internship? I need it because it makes up 1 year for this NOC, only if I include it.

Please let me know. I appreciate all of your responses!

Dear FSWapplicant123,

I am not a senior here, so please take my suggestions with a grain of salt.

Look at the table on this page: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp#r <- The first column has Applications for Permanent Resident Visas Select your country Russia, and see what's in the first column i.e. Warsaw.
2. I have a savings account, which is nominated in USD, but the proof of funds requirement states amounts in CAD. So should I show the amount in my bank certificate letter in USD or in CAD?
Showing funds in USD is OK. I did the same and got my PER. I did include an additional page/letter explaining what the balance would be in CAD with the USD to CAD conversion rate.
3. Also, in proof of funds section of the application, it asks for assets and liabilities in addition to settlement funds. What should I include there? I do not have any liability. And my assets are just my savings.
If you don't have any loans like student loans, car loans etc, your liabilities are 0. Please put 0 in the field for liabilities.
4. In the checklist, it says "provide proof of your completed foreign education credential and an original ECA report from a designated organization". I know that ECA report comes from WES, but what about the proof of my completed foreign education credential? Can I provide with the copy of my diplomas?
Yes, that means your degree/diploma certificate.
5. In one of my employment reference letter, should they include the end date of my employment, even if it is my current job? How should I put the end date for my current employment ref letter, in other words?
Your current employment reference letter should show your start date, and mention that you are a current employee i.e. currently working there. Hence there is no need for the end date. As far as the Employment reference letter, ENSURE it has the duties that match the NOC. This is very very important. If you don't have this, your application is toast.
You need to show 1 year experience in a single NOC. In my understanding you cannot combine experience in multiple NOCs to show the minimum 1 year experience.
As far as including the internship, I suggest you keep the "years of experience" column blank, but include the correct From and To dates. Then add a additional piece of paper (addendum) explaining that it was only for 3 months and hence you have not selected anything in the "years of experience" column.

many have... check previous pages...and check the SS
