my buddy @ spicy says is also correct, as many ppl hv sent copies, but ORIGINALS makes to questions left in VO/CIC mind, instead of coming back and forth, better do it now, what if they ask at later stage ? anyways u will hv to send...SAVES SOME TIME

The checklist mentions Copies and there's no harm if you can get rid of the Originals without any risk. But sticking to pen and paper(rules) just send copies.

Couple of my previous employers are abroad and I have received reference letter from them already. If I ask them again, it may take some time and THEY MAY or MAY NOT give.

Anyway, I will attach copies.

When I made a draft of 550$ in State bank of India the amount was deducted from my account. How will I know that my DD is encashed. Will dey do it after giving me the PER??
And btw any idea about the date of the file that are under processing??

I send my application on 25th August. Still nothing from CIC :'( . Courier agency confirmed the package is delivered. How long did you wait for the first mail? Should I be worried?

Hi Simarwalia,

it will take around 100 days(approx.) once they recieve ur file.
First DD will be charged and week or so after PER will be sent to your email...
