Don't rely on the SS for everything .... it doesn't take into account the slowdown of applications after the first month... and increase in pace of processing by CIC to lead to lesser gaps between CC charging, PER, PCC, MR requests ..... remember this is the last year for FSW applications .... CIC is expected to pick up pace .....

That was the essence of what I said too. So, not getting what you don't agree on. It might be beneficial for the process itself, but no question it will be harder to qualify for.

Depends on your score and area of interest

Cic always give preference to education and language adaptation , that's the reason they give maximum points for both of them (25 and 24 resp )
If anyone looking forward for express entry , my suggestion would be: get ielts done by spouse as well to get extra points and if I have any relative in canada don't miss those 5 points as well.

Guyz plz help.....my birth certificate does not have my name but has the parents name because in old times they did NOT write the names...will that be fine???

It is sad that consultancies are so opaque about timelines. I have been talking to them for about a month and not one has provided 10% the info this forum has got. They just keep talking about money.

So If I am not wrong these would be the steps to start.

• Write IELTS,
• Get the ECA from WES
• Prepare all remaining documentation
• Send it to Visa office

Are all this remotely doable for a complete newbie to the process within a month? Which I think is the max time period for the NOC 2173 or 2174 which is my field.

Is there logic in pursuing for the FSW in 2014 -2015 or get the documents ready and try for Express Entry next year? Please advise and thanks in advance1

I gave you an optimistic target of 5th Sep.... but I am more than sure that 26th will start getting charged latest by 10th Sep.....

Hello all

The visa office has asked me for an updated proof of funds (including source). I sent them my current bank statement (6 month history) with my application (the amount was several times higher than required settlement funds). Is it fine to send the same updated document? I never heard of anybody to list the source of the money in their account. Also, the account balance is only increased by ~10% since the time of application.

It's not an unusual request, so just send them your latest statement and provide details of the source

Me too a May 12th App (NOC 1112).. and my mail box has not shown any sign of ringing... Still keeping my fingers crossed and holding on to my nerves untill i receive an offficial communication..

I applied to NDVO, India and waiting for "Processing started". Does online PCC issued by Delhi Police (for Delhi residents only) which is digitally signed and sent by mail to the recipient is acceptable by NDVO?

You can use 10th certificate in place of birth certificate ,if it has your parent/parents name,dob and yours name.

Dear Seniors,
We are in-process of preparing the package thru a consultant..i have few questions in mind
1. My consultant is planning to keep the principal applicant's (my husband's) form16's, sal slips, all promotion/hike letters, offer and relieving letters of all companies worked for, and so on. They are also keeping the above docs of spouse (mine) in the package. This looks too bulky..im doubtful if they are needed and whether they would add value
2. They are saying that we should not write the forms Addtn family information and Backgrnd declaration in pen (i.e print in black ink). They want it to only to be typed and added as an addtn sheet.
