Now, I can confirm to you that some miracles still happen! I just got my PER!!!

A friend of mine has applied for 2133 NOC for Electrical Engg. She did her Masters and worked in the US for 3 years way back in 2007. Her current residency is India. While in US, she lived only in one state (New Mexico). For PCC, she just got a PCC from the local police department in New Mexico and submitted the same with her app.

My question, is, i see many posts in this forum, from people, about getting PCC for FBI. Could you please clarify in what case, would an applicant have to take PCC from a Federal agency like FBI? Is it because this applicant has lived in different states in the US during their tenure?

Will her PCC from New Mexico work in her case?

Suggestion : she should start working on getting FBI PCC after receiving PER ( ASAP )

If she has not entered US after 2007 .. She should not bother about getting Pcc in last 3 months .
Infact her Pcc is valid till the time her next visit /entry to US again

1000 per NOC until they reach 25000

Which means if they reach 25000 in total they will stop taking apps even if an NOC has only reached 100

Is CIC processing 500 or 1000 applications per NOC category??

I did write them an email requesting for the status of my application and got a response that it is being processed but will correspond with me via regular post as i did not indicate an email address

I guess someone decided to be magnanimous...picked the email address I wrote them with

Card was billed on 3rd September 10:40 am, but my friend saw it today and updated me.

Admins, would you please update the spreadsheet for me?

I also met with a minor accident today, an hour ago and the CC charge is covering up my pain a lot. Fell from my bike while coming back from office and had several injuries on most of the right side of the body. Noting to worry about, going for first aid in few minutes. Once again thanks a lot everyone.

In a lighter vein - get your horoscope checked as well. Probably unfavorable stars want to create trouble as you approach a favorable event in your life

NOTE: Tangocharlie1234 and others waiting with NOC 1112 - as you NOC is trailing 2174 by a small margin, the 2174 cc charge should give you hope. Few more days and you should hear the good news as 2174 should be the first one to cap.

Hi People,

Can any one help me in getting the right approach.

I will be applying for my PR on 18th of Sept with NOC 2171 -IS Analyst and consultants. I have 5yrs of IT experience (Oracle Apps).

Issue is that I will be travelling to USA by Nov-Dec and I will be giving Canadian HC - New delhi as the centre. For the post submission processes
- CC Charge - PER - AOR -Interviews- Medicals & RPRF - Passport Request -

Will I have come back to India ? Or I can avail it from any USA Canadian High Commission office.

Experts - Please guide me through ....Thanks in Advance.
