A friend of mine has applied for 2133 NOC for Electrical Engg. She did her Masters and worked in the US for 3 years way back in 2007. Her current residency is India. While in US, she lived only in one state (New Mexico). For PCC, she just got a PCC from the local police department in New Mexico and submitted the same with her app.

My question, is, i see many posts in this forum, from people, about getting PCC for FBI. Could you please clarify in what case, would an applicant have to take PCC from a Federal agency like FBI? Is it because this applicant has lived in different states in the US during their tenure?

Will her PCC from New Mexico work in her case?

NEW MEXICO clearance will suffice.. NO FBI issuance needed

you should be ok

However pl note if you are not fingerprinted - you should then opt for FBI - ....else no..

someone sent you an additional document to the main application (which is an additional document but not in the missing apps). Notification Are you cio of the documents you arrived and added them to the package documents ?????????

It seems the NOC2173(218) get capped by August with July applicants,CIO is working on May21st applicant(PER),it might reach 300 with May applicant by next week .As i am 25 august applicant,worried about the news and figures.

can you tell me would my application be in cap1000?

British council in Dubai refused to issue additional TRF of IELTS result.
We are preparing second application as back up.
Can any one advice how to get the additional TRF or we can send photocopy?

You can get additional TRF if you haven't already got an additional one for CANADA or UK immigration. It's clearly mentioned on
http : // www . ielts . org / test_takers_information/test_takers_faqs/test_results.aspx (remove spaces)
and IELTS result photocopy is not allowed for Canada immigration.

Yeah.. Very true buddy... Its just m trying to get something which could help understand NDVO thinking...

Also.. Just one more thing if you can suggest.. We see mostly interview ia waived, however what are the cases where they call for interview..??? And has there been situations where someone got thru in NDVO after interview..??? May be in past..

Mate, Any analysis on too thin a data sample yields misleading results - that is the 1st basic rule of Analysis

PS - BTW, there is one case of MR for 0111 last night (JJ)

You can take it. Logically they just need finger print. no certification that it is your finger print from some 3rd party

but the risk is it is difficult to do it by untrained person.

You can find the agencies in India. get it and mail them with the fees and application.

my app received at cio on may 8, and dd cashed on july 17, I got per on aug 18, but in ecas it says we received ur app on may 9 2014 and status is shown in process.

as I got per on aug 18, so how come VO receieved my app on may 9? how long does it take vo to start processing it? and when does they will add second line of we have started processing ur app? my vo is London.
