Surprising...!! Shouldn't it be valid for life time? :( Our education credentials remain same even after five years.. Some colleges status might change and also curriculum , but however that wouldn't change what we had studied..

I agree

Infact funny part is "ielts" is valid for 2 years only ... Cic people think people forget English after 2 years ?

I wish anybody can explain why "ielts" is valid for certain time only .

Hi senior members

I got my medical examination request and RPRF today, plus request for updated proof of funds (including source). I'm not sure if other members have received such document request, but any help would be appreciated: What documents should I send as the source of my funds in my account? The majority of my fund is in the form of savings which were transferred into Canada over years, plus some contribution from my monthly salary. Is it fine to send pay slips as the source of funds?

Many thanks

Wow that would be a very close call. If you get in great otherwise prepare with full might for the upcoming Express entry procedures from January 2015.

Waiting for a positive news from CIO, otherwise would definitely go for Express entry

guess its safe to assume that june applicants will be processed mid sept early october? sad they are still working on may applicants

Yeah the wait period is really hard, and it seems the folks at CIC work in bursts some days we get lot of applications moving and then nothing for days at end. Well we can only hope and pray.

HI all,
I have a question here , the answer to which i searched and could not find.
My passport has been renewed. i have got the PER but it does not mention any mail or link to where i can send/notify to my local VO(NDVO) about the same.
Is it okay to send the update when i get he MR request or is there some other way to do that.

Depends what did u show in ur pof along with app
If u can share how much pof u submitted in ur app and in which form
Suggestion/s will be based on that

As per SS large Number of applicants applied in the month of may 2014, then it decreased by 50%
so it seems that the applicants of June , July, August and Mid September might be qualified the CAP1000 of
2173 Software engineers and designers 218
2132 Mechanical engineers 174
2171 Information systems analysts and consultants 161
2281 Computer network technicians 113

IELTS validity make sense to me, but should be valid for more years. For many English is not a mother tongue, if you don't use it for longer time, proficiency decreases. I can say this from my experience. I am not a native Hindi speaker, moved to North India for PG, learnt good Hindi and returned to South for job..Now I don't feel so confident of speaking Hindi :(

Thanks for the quick reply. I sent the bank statement with a balance of $100K with history of 6 months with my application. The fund is in the form of money in my account at a Canadian bank. I intend to send an updated bank statement, but what would be the document for the source of fund?

Dear all,

I just found this forum this weekend and I have spent a day reading all the relevant threads. However, the discussion has gone so far that I sometime missed the important note. So I'd like to ask where I can find the most updated information about applications received by CIC. I found this link but not sure because to total seems too small :(

I intend to apply for Investment analyst 1112 (my current job). The application by July is about ~~300 and I want to know whether I still have a chance. I was an auditor in the past and am not sure whether auditor and financial analyst are in the same pool. I received WES report today. My B.A was consider as a 4-years degree in Canada. So will I have 21 points?

My points breakdown are as follows:

Ages : 12
Experience: 15
IELTS: 22 (R: 8.5 - L: 8 - S: 6.5 - W: 6.5)
Education: 21 (if I'm right about this)
Total 70 points.

Thanks for all great information on this forum.

Best,
Jess

Hi Jess

At this stage, it might be better to apply under NOC 1111 (which is where auditor falls) if you were such for more than a year, as NOC 1112 might be full for those just getting ready to apply now. Then again, you might just make it in. No-one but those at CIC knows. But if it were me, I'd go the path of least resistance as I don't believe 1111 will be capping anytime soon.

Yes...I think evaluation is done specifically for FSW immigration not in general sense of your academics....Hence time limit..
